No, what's funny is the people that think that wanting change means that you'll take anything new and accept it with open arms. Why would change be good in itself? It take it as a given that when someone wants change he wants something new that's good, not just anything whatsoever that's different.
And Ryback isn't exactly very different from the average powerhouse. He does his few power moves, he no-sells a lot so his opponents look like crap and he doesn't say much. The thing that stands out is that he has a more childish catch phrase than usual for such characters.

It's not a big deal. He'll win the Royal Rumble and beat Big Show clean for the title at Mania and all will be well.

Re: What a waste of Ryback's time and momentum
I wouldn't try go saying people bought the PPV just to watch Ryback win, I mean by that logic you could say people bought the PPV to see R-Truth end Cesaro's reign.
I don't know, Ryback is pretty hit and miss with audiences now, when he hits he scores but sometimes people just see him and wont treat him as anymore then the toilet break amusement act that he's been for most of his career, randomly picking up small guys from rival cities.

Rybotch is the worst pro wrestler EVER. Just goes to show that Vince is even more senile than we all thought when he insists on pushing this talentless hack.

We want GOOD change, not crap like Ryback. I'll take years of Cena in the main event over 1 single minute of him.

Re: What a waste of Ryback's time and momentum
he'll live. I don't understand the he's done crap. Sometimes going through the pain of losing (screw-job or not) actually helps the character develop. And Ryback's case he has 100 % backing of Vince after Mania next year the guy will eventually get to the top of the mountain. Right now just isn't right time for him to be WWE Champion, due to circumstances (too early & The Rock at Rumble & Mania etc.)

Ryback is the next big thing. In 3-4 years he'll be what Cena is today
