To be honest I don't think Ryback is main-event level yet. The match was under ten minutes and he still looked shattered towards the end. The Punk-Cena WWE title picture will probably continue until RR when Rock enters the fray.
If I was a booker then I'd go for this: Vince is mad about the screwjob ending, so gives Ryback another shot at the title on Raw. Ryback is gaining the upper hand until Mark Henry appears and destroys him. The reason for the attack is because Henry wants his position as 'the most destructive force in the WWE' back in his hands.
