People on message boards can chatter all they want about mic skills and ring skills, but Ryback is questionable at best in BOTH categories and has managed to get over as all fuck. He's over because he actually looks strong, does high impact power moves, and has a catch phrase for the crowd to chant.

He's main event caliber as far as being over right now, but I question his longevity. He's had injury and wellness policy issues in the past. Also, a main eventer will get stale pretty fucking fast if it's difficult for him to have well developed feuds. If a guy can't talk and can't have a blow off PPV match that lasts longer than 5 minutes, it will be difficult for his feuds to maintain interest.

The bottom line is...we'll see.

But I know exactly why he's over. He wins all the time and he has a cool catchphrase. People WILL get behind that.
