Ryback as the new face of WWE? Vince should think again.

Ryback was in developmental for what? 8 years? and he still sucks. Ryback is indeed similar to Goldberg, but if you check out some early Goldberg matches, he was far more athletic and versatile than Ryback. Ryback has had far more ring experience at this point in his career then Goldberg had. He won't get any better. Although I still think Tensai sandbagged, another theory is that Tensai was dazed from the clothesline and all but knocked out on his feet, thus not able to sell the finisher. His head was really red after the match.

Oh look, it's this thread again.

Thank You, Bryan! 2009-2016

I believe our anger for the current product stems from the idea that it has so much potential and it's not living up to it. The reason we keep watching is to one day see if it will reach that potential or a level near it. We don't necessarily want the Attitude Era to return, but we want the excitement and the crave to watch more and the need to see what happens next which the Attitude Era brought us.

Re: Ryback as the new face of WWE? Vince should think again.

Oh god will this nonsense ever stop?

Batista was in the top of the WWE for 5 years along with Cena at 36~41 years of age, Shawn Michaels's best years in the business in my opinion were after he turned 40, Jericho at 40 years of age is still the best in the world when he's around (sorry Punk ).

Anyway, Ryback is what 30/31? That's already 5 years younger than Batista, and Batista's WWE run in the top wasn't so bad since alot of people desperately want him back now.

Ryback is ridiculously over, you see Ryback signs every week in the shows, his T-Shirt is starting to sell out pretty decently, and he's not bad in the ring at all. Tensai sandbagged, it's pretty obvious if you watch the video. He did it to Tensai before, and to two men at the same time who weight more than Tensai plenty of times.

He's sloppy and has zero mic skills. Outside of him being over I can't see one reason why he should be pushed

That's all you need to get pushed? If he's over it means he's popular with the fans, and could if utlized correctly could make money for the WWE, it's business 101 really.

As for Ryback, can't really say i'm a fan of his but I wasn't a fan of Batista or Goldberg either and look how they turned out, and they weren't great in the ring or had great mic skills either. They had charisma and presence as well as that look, and I think Ryback definitely has the look, but also has charisma and presence as well.

Favorite Wrestlers Of All Time - The Undertaker, The Rock, Chris Jericho and Edge

He is over, has charisma and the look/marketability. Those superceed ring work and mic work in terms of making money right now.

Kofi Kingston is a terrible character and will never amount to anything outside of his tagteam/ic/us title reigns.
