It just becomes more and more apparent every week that they seem to be taking more and more pressure of John Cena and putting more of that pressure on CM Punk, and its a really good thing.

CM Punk and John Cena are they only two legit draws on the current active WWE roster alternating between them the responsibilities.

John Cena being the Hulk Hogan commodity of drawing and selling merch no matter what he does or who he feuds with.
And CM Punk taking the work horse route like Brett Hart and performing night after night in long matches on house show, RAW, Smackdown and RAW tour, PPVs, Saturday Slam, Main event.

Its so strange after watching WWE for so long for WWE to have confidence in somebody else other than Cena and actually giving him some big responsibilities such as the amount of air time he receives, feuds, protection and the long title reign.

Its taken a long time and whilst we all know he is never going to over take Cena, and to an extent what would be the point in that but it is good to se some competition and them both sharing the load. Which gives Cena some time to take off.

Fair enough RAW last week was terrible but that wasnt because Cena wasnt there, with CM Punk been one of the only watchable parts, but mainly the poor booking of the whole show.

Ratings are going downhill since they started the Punk vs. Cena and respect bullshit.

last monday, RAW without Cena and featured CM Punk in 3 segment, draw 2.5 ratings.

don't blame the handegg games, NFL played every year.

Yeah, he is. He is the most interesting thing on Raw, and the only interesting thing going on in the main event.

The ratings are because of the 3 hour show which is too long to watch all of it, it has nothing to do with Punk. Plus ratings don't show how talented someone is, it is just a number that the WWE alone should are about. Punk is the most interesting thing going and if anyone's still watching its because of him, so yeah he IS carrying a lot of weight.

Nah. Bryan/Kane are carrying the company. Bryan is so hot they try to insert him into the main event scene without even having a storyline reason for it.

If there was NO Smackdown, Saturday slam thing and Main Event, they could probably last more in the 3-hour program.

It's not Punk's fault that the ratings are low. It's the booking and people are getting tired of the 3-hour boring program, so they just change the channel to watch football or something like that.

Punk|Bryan|Kane|Ziggler|Cesaro|Sandow are carrying the show now. Super Cena's in this week so all of them might get over-shadowed again.
