Re: When Should Ryback & Punk Have Their First Match?
Not anytime soon, and if they do, make it a non-start bout where the two just wail on each other and take into the backroom, parking lot, before having WWE security personel break the two up. Have Heyman draw up some kayfabe restraining order signed by the RAW GM to keep CM Punk healthy for legitimate contenders for the belt.
This way neither of them take a loss, both look strong and viscious, and it gives a plausible reason why Ryback would cease his aggression, though I'd save it until a week before the PPV. Ryback needs to polish his ring skills up, perhaps he could then go on to feud with Encore since they seem to be beating on the midcard. I'd wait a good 4-8 months before I'd even think of putting those two in a proper match.
Re: When Should Ryback & Punk Have Their First Match?
I'd keep them separated but tease the match. I'd like to see that match. I still don't see who people dislike Ryback. I'm beginning to think people just have a bias for any non heel that isn't an indy guy.
Re: When Should Ryback & Punk Have Their First Match?
Let's do it this week on Raw, have Punk kick out of the Shell Shock, hit Ryback with a GTS, beat him, cut a promo on him when he's down, end this stupid streak angle and keep Ryback on NXT where he belongs.

Put them in opposite sides in the survivor series 5v5, have Ryback dominate a bit and take out 2 minor members of Team Heyman, then have Punk enter and take him out. It'll get him more respect than beating Cena in 8 different match types will.
