Joining Nexus was the ideal opportunity. Then turning on Rocky would have represented another ideal opportunity. I don't think it will ever happen.

they had their chance: Nexus, Kane's Embrace the Hate, The Rock, etc.

but they decided not to.

Wrestlemania 28 or post-Extreme Rules this year after a loss at the hands of Brock Lesnar would've been the perfect opportunities. Didn't happen and look what it done did to the year of 2012... worst year in WWE history since 1995.

The Nexus was a great chance to do it, Now they need to wait until WM29 or WM30 and have him either beat The Rock by beating him down with a chair, kind of like Austin did at WM17 or have him do the same thing with Undertaker at WM30 and end the streak. Those are the only two ways I would do it now.

I just spent like an hour and a half watching the different legends of the roundtable discussions, and jr and them made a good point, hogan was getting stale in the 90's, people started to boo him, so they decided to make him join the nwo and the rest was history.

it's not going to happen though, cause cena is their only important babyface other than sheamus, and they have punk for the top heel part, but just imagining it i don't know, might not be the best thing after all.

i'd like to see it but i just don't think it ever will, maybe in a few years when he starts slowing down in terms of his prominence, and they actually start looking toward the future.

with the way how extremely low on babyfaces the company is in, I don't see it at all. I doubt he wants to either (due to his off-ring promotions and merchandise).
