Current plans for the Tag Team Tournament *Possible Spoilers*

After last night's WWE Main Event, the semifinals of the WWE tag team tournament will feature Santino Marella and Zack Ryder vs. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow plus Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. the winner of Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Darren Young and Titus O'Neil, which takes place on Friday's SmackDown. The winners of the tournament will face Kane and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Tag Team Titles at Hell In a Cell.
In a spoiler update, Rhodes and Sandow are scheduled to win the tournament and compete for the titles at Hell In a Cell later this month.
There is a plan in place for Mysterio and Cara to lose to Sandow and Rhodes in the finals due to interference from Young and O'Neil. This would lead to a second tag team match at Hell In a Cell - Mysterio and Cara vs. Young and O'Neil, which would be a rematch from the finals.

Pretty much what everyone was thinking. I can't remember the last time we got 2 tag team matches on one PPV.
Sandow wrestling two former World Champions on PPV is fine with me anyway. Hopefully, Hell No win, and Cody takes the pin.

Actually, Sandow taking the pin wouldn't matter now what with the loss to Sheamus.

pretty obvious thats what the plan was,i hope they lose at HIAC but get the belts at survivor series in a stipulation match

I was getting in to Damien Sandow up until this random pairing with Cody. Rhodes Scholars makes no sense at all. Especially if you happen to know what that even is. This is ridiculous, and the only thing going for this team is that it includes two decent, and somewhat entertaining characters. I just don't see the reason to give Damien a tag team partner out of the blue. His role in the singles division was solid, and if they were going to pair him randomly with anyone it should have been David Otunga. Character wise Otunga makes all the sense in the world. Ivy League graduate David Otunga who attended Harvard, and became a Lawyer. Does that ring a fucking bell?
No, I can't really say that I enjoy watching David, but if he is enough of a mainstay character for me to tolerate him. He is a "heel", and no he may not be as over as Sandow is already in his career, but Otunga is over enough as a heel in the WWE. Otunga is clearly an intelligent man, and that's no bullshit. Who better than to pair up with Sandow than someone who actually is his equal in character in terms of "brains", and probably more intelligent than in real life? These two would have been a great tag team because their characters would mesh so well.
Show them walking backstage drinking "warm tea", and discussing the most recent "Liberal Books" that they have read. Constantly insulting other wrestlers along the way, and make snide remarks at every chance they get. Coming out weekly, and giving us Government statistics about how stupid our schools are, and how dumb are children are becoming over the last decade. Possibly "quote" their favorite lines from books that they are currently reading. They would both be totally oblivious to the fact that no one cares about their interests, hobbies, pet-peeves, habits, or aspirations are even when they come out to share these things with the WWE Universe.

It's not about his undefeated streak, it's about him being 1000x more talented than Cody and needing stronger booking than him.
