Worse in every aspect, wrestling ability, comedy, selling, you name it.

I don't hate Sheamus at all, infact he's one of my favorite wrestlers. I think hhe's talented all round, and doesn't have one obvious weakness.
I can understand some people souring on him during his title reign becauuse it's been so uneventful. He's not to blame for that. He's beenn stuck with Alberto Del Rio on PPV for about six consecutive PPVs, someone incrediblyy uninteresting and withouut heat in the slightest. Adding to Del Rio just losing again, and again, and again...it was just uninteresting. Annd if that wasn't bad enoughh they've now paired him with the most boring guy on the roster, The Big Show. Seriously, just find him an interesting opponent, please.

Sheamus is a shadow of his former self. When he was a heel, he was a total ass-kicker as The Celtic Warrior. Now as a face, he's the SmackDown equivalent of John Cena: he doesn't take anything seriously, he isn't funny, he's consistently shoved down our throats, he's a boring champion (his overplayed feud with Del Rio didn't help him out at all), he rarely loses, and he recently seems to be turning into a full Irish stereotype, if he hasn't done so already.

It sounds like a joke, but besides physical appearances it's quite hard to note any fundamental differences between Sheamus and Ted Dibiase, and Ted is just an example. That's not something you want to be able to do with one of the top stars in a company.

Yeah but his look is quite a plus for Sheamus.
He is very trademark-ish and very memorable.
