And that isn't good... business as usual is terrible. Of course, they showed they really weren't going to do business any different with him there so.... yeah, stay off the sinking ship Jericho.

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho
Hopefully this report is bullshit as I want to see Jericho back in time for Mania next year, the fact is though he really doesn't need them at this stage; he has done it all and has probably had a far better career than he ever could have imagined when he started.

Yeah, ratings at 15 year lows. No former main eventers to put over the new guard so audiences don't take the new guard, who are being pushed down our throats, seriously. Yeah WWE is doing just fantastic right now without Jericho.

This is spot on. Jericho should just continue what he's doing instead of returning to this sinking ship. His band are on their way to become bigger anyways.

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho
His interview in FSM made him sound excited about returning, and hinted that it would be soon (I thought). He said he enjoyed the run more than he thought he would and didn't really want to leave.

It is believed that the proposed deal fell through due to control over when he worked as well as his activities outside of WWE.
|
Why is this always a thing with these people?? It's fucking psycho, makes signing a contract with WWE like entering a relationship with a weird possessive nutcase. And in fact the fans themselves mirror it, with all of the "he sold out he went to make movies/music/tv shows". What assholes, how dare they not give themselves completely to this corporation

And when Jericho came back from January-August, things just soared and completely changed?

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho
^^ Actually yes. He put Punk over and cemented his number 2 status at Mania. Who else on the current roster could have done that? ^^
EDIT: Ziggler's next.

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho
As I stated, I love Jericho and mean no disrespect to him at all. He had a lot of very good matches in his last run, did his usual great job. But WWE do not need him, business carries on the same with or without him.

His music sucks. He's one of my favourite wrestlers ever.
