Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho

I don't really love Fozzy, but if he wants to focus on his band and select dates where he's more readily available, then he should be able to do so. The WWE are the only people who lose out in this situation.

Still a fan of Ryder despite his brutal de-push.

They have no reason to give into his demands other than desperation. I think if they cant get Jeff Hardy and Batista next year they'll cave into his demands.

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho

Why would anyone take anything Jericho says on Twitter serious? Last time the rumours of him coming back, he'd be on Twitter saying he's not coming back and all this other shit. Jericho is not going to confirm anything like contracts on Twitter.

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho

Good. I love Jericho but at this point... Every time WWE is forced to part, however briefly or extensively, with one of their established stars from the past, is a good thing from my perspective. If I were Jericho I would be at least mildly upset with how they squandered Ziggler's ejecting me in the counterproductive effort to... Who knows what? But Ziggler's push has been laughable in its inconsistency and tedium (two things which rarely go together but somehow WWE has scored again!). I don't blame Jericho at all for wanting certain perks and/or a lighter schedule and control over his outside ventures. I'm fairly confident he'll be back in WWE for one last run in the near future, but for now, focus on Fozzy and the rest of your life, Jericho, and come back to WWE when it's most convenient for you rather than for them.

Jericho is still on tour right now and there was no other rumor of Jericho negotiating a contract until now. I call BS.

Re: WWE Ends Contract Talks With Chris Jericho

Jericho might be happy not to return to a company that has to feel eerily like WCW... some of the implications from recent interviews really point to a sense of disappointmnent with the WWE. And I personally don't want to see him come back again just to be lost in the chaos.

As for TNA... I would personally love to see it. There is an air of optimism and confidence in that product right now and someone like Jericho would be enough of a star to boost awareness while also being selfless enough to use that power to build newer stars. Will it happen? Hard to really say... TNA is different from the past few years so maybe he's actually looking at it now. And with the ease of scheduling around their dates, that might be appealing. But then there is the whole "I'm a WWE guy". Which then reminds us you can't really trust what he says a lot of the time. The guy works even when he doesn't have to

Thanks for the wonderful memories Ultimate Warrior... happy you got to be recognised as the legend you are before you went. Rest in peace

I absolutely love Chris Jericho, but today WWE do not "need" him. They're better for having him, but it's business as usual without him.
