That video is posted everytime someone says something bad about Kingston. Please stop it, we've all seen that segment one thousand times.

In fact it was during the Kofi Kingston VS Randy Orton at a PPV(TLC? Survivor Series? I don't remember) when I realize that I cannot stand that generic jumping guy with his bland moveset and his ridiculous taunts. And don't compare him with Mysterio, because Mysterio is a real highflyer with a much more unique look(the variety of masks, his tribute of different superheroes etc, and the "Guerrero Latino" thing).

worse guys than him id like to cut, for me yes he is boring and never seen on the mic, first tensai sucks , secondly clay isnt on mic much / smiles / gimmick is terrible,i wreckon people like ryder should get a push, maybe for intercontinental title and i bet his mechandise sells good and he is good on the mic and with fans... but wait till survivor series / rumble / mania, all big stars will be there and make it good, i just dont like fact wwe is predictable at moment, punk and shaemus will always win there matches, i grow tired of the same thing, or the miz will lose.

Okay, first of all, it's wrong to say that Kofi 'sucks'. He doesn't.
But let's be clear about this, his gimmick - if one can call it that - most certainly does suck. What is his persona anyway? He smiles, he shouts 'boom', it's all so bland, so utterly forgettable. And what bugs me about it is that we saw flashes of greatness during his feud with Orton. Flashes of a mature, respectable wrestler who fans of all ages could get behind.

Now, this isn't all his fault. It's a result of one very simple fact, the midcard is full of generic talent with absolutely nothing to help us tell them apart. Kofi was allowed to shine because he was against a talent like Orton. But against nobodies like Curt Hawkins? Or floundering talent like Ziggler? He isn't going to impress anyone apart from in regards to his ring work.

It's the oldest concept there is.
Build better heels to make people give a shit about the faces. Kofi can still be a carefree, likeable guy. But he needs a heel who brings out his mean side. Same goes for Brodus Clay.

Kofi is a great athlete with a bad gimmick. He deserves better.

You can't really give a gimmick to someone who has no personality, unless your name is Harrison Ford. Kingston just can't act out another persona. I also feel like once HHH buried him by calling his bluff it basically took the wind out of his sail. I agree that he sucks, but he has a fan base. His response from fans at house shows is a big deal, and that's a reason I feel he is still around. He puts on an exciting show, and even though he won't main event you don't get rid of Kofi Kingston.

Kofi is great, but his gimmick sucks and creative has nothing for him. He has excellent wrestling skills and above-average mic skills. If given the chance, he could shine. However, I think he needs to turn heel in order to do it. His current babyface gimmick is terrible.

Kofi is good, he just needs to vary his moveset a bit. It's repetitive seeing him jump-walking around his opponent, bouncing off the ropes, drop his legs on them, go to the top rope, do a high and slow jump and hit the other guy with some weak looking back-hand clotheslines and then jump around them again.

I know he can put on good matches and he's delivered when given a chance on the mic, it's just his shtick is stale and he needs to change some things. No, NOT a fucking heel turn like everyone drools over, just a bit of small change. I know his shtick is a bit stale, but it's not Cena-level stale.

Kofi's a really talented worker but his act/gimmick whatever you want to call it is beyond stale at this point. Creative needs to come up with something new for him.
