yup its true but then again this applies to almost everyone on the roster

I think he has some value, for sure. I actually think he could be really good if he gave a fuck anymore. He's over, as has been mentioned by you, me & others but more than that, he can be exciting in a way that not everyone on the roster can be. Like Kofi can do things that The Big Show can't do and The Big Show can do things that Kofi can't do. So I do think he has worth & could be a valuable asset. I just think Kofi, along with a lot of the other members of the roster, are on cruise control. Maybe it's because WWE as a whole is on the same cruise control so the roster just falls in line, because why work harder & take more risk for the same reward/pay/time/opportunities? Hopefully the dwindling ratings & Vince McMahon's State of WWE Address on Monday can put some fire under the asses of the roster again.

Your point is a good one too. You need over midcarders to give clean wins to guys higher on the card without giving away money matches on free TV. They should do it more often, honestly, as it feels fresh & is a lot better than team heel vs. team babyface tag match main events.

Kofi is one of my more looked foward to reasons to watch wrestling in recent years. Pulling the pin on his push after the Orton thing despite him reliably being one of the most over people on the roster for years before and since was pointless for both him and the E imo. I think he's reasonably good in terms of possessing charisma and promos too. I've almost always liked what Ziggler and Kofi put together. And I'm not huge on Ziggy overall.

I seriously doubt any significant portion of the fanbase cares or even knows about his general lack of indy history. While I don't consider him a terrible worker anyway I don't think that is even the point. The concept of formal workrate in general is a foreign thing to the vast majority of wrestling fans far as I have seen or know.

I'm a fan of Kofi, I don't think he is Main Event material but I could see him filling the same role mysterio has been doing for the last few years (- the WWE championship) and think OP is baching him a bit much.

Kofi is decent in ring, not Benoit or Angle, but passable. A person with Kofi's ring skills could win the world title and people would be O.K. with it. On the mic, he isn't terrible either. He is confident in speaking and shows his charisma and enthusiasm whenever he gets on the mic (admittedly not that often). He has also managed to be one of the most over people on the roster for the past 3 years or so despite doing very little and getting almost no promo time, so there must be something in him.

I can see Kofi getting the standard end of career WHC championship win like Henry did, or possible coming up in discussions about who should've won a title on forums in 10-15 years.

I agree that he should NEVER main event.. but I wouldn't make a bash thread about kofi until that happens.

The guy is a midcarder for life and he is good doing that imo.

I can name plenty of others not worth watching and sack rider is one them.
