Maybe post WM send him off to make CM Punk: The Movie: A Musical?

I'm always dubious of "backstage news" but this is good if true because A) They're learning from previous situations, aware that they're giving Cena a lot of credit ala Hogan and don't want to make mistakes from the past which would be unfortunate and B) They have faith in Punk.

Yeah if Cena isn't 100% they're not taking the title off Punk. There's no way anyone but Punk or Cena at this point, until the Rock wins, should/will hold the title.

I don't think it's much of a surprise. And I agree with the Hart comparison. And NO, I'm not and they're not comparing them as wrestlers or entertainers. The comparison is in the big picture backstage stuff between the two. I think it's a good comparison. Essentially an underappreciation for someone who does in fact draw.

The whole Punk looking beat up thing is funny cause they said that about Punk before and he made fun of it.

But anyways they obviously lean on Punk as he is a dependable work horse who rarely gets hurt (knock on wood) and you never have to worry about willingness policy issues for him. With Cena seemingly the most banged up he has ever been and them not being that sure about Orton anymore Punk is more needed than ever and I think they should have more Raw's where he has at least 2 to 3 promos/segments where he doesn't wrestle to help preserve him more.

CM Punk was exhausted last year. During the "shoot" promo he was gonna walk out with the title and take a month or 2 off but he was too hot to let him take a month or 2 off.

He's been active for straight 6 years. I appreciate that a lot, works hard to earn a spot. Even when he was injured in 2010 he decided to do commentary instead of taking a rest, I guess he was fighting for recognition. Respect.
