Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

I don't mind Sheamus beating Sandow but he shouldn't have made both Rhodes & Sandow look bad. If he had just brogue kicked Sandow and pinned him I would have been fine but both of them? Dumb.

Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

It didn't do him any favors.

Not to mention it was pointless, why can't they just tell the simplest, most effective story in the book, ref gets knocked down, Big Show comes through the crowd and WMD's Sheamus, rolls Sandow on top of him, Sandow wins, Sheamus loses nothing, it furthers his feud with Big Show and makes sense with the earlier segment where Big Show walked out, not wanting to face Sheamus straight up, the next #1 contenders to the tag titles pick up a lot of momentum and everybody comes off better for it.

No, let's have them get Brogue Kicked at the same time for no reason, because that's completely logical. They need stars more than ever and their solution is to take a scenario where it makes NO sense for the established guy to win, and have him win. This is the fundamental problem with WWE, more than PG, more than Linda, more than whatever else. Absolute refusal to do anything about the star problem they have.

They can have the WWE Champion, the REAL top champion taking a clean loss on tv, but the secondary one can't even take a massively tainted one? Just goes to show you what can happen when you fuck the guy running a good chunk of the company.

The only good thing about this is that his first loss was to the champion and not RyBack, or some midcard afterthought who's underneath him.

What everyone really wants for Christmas:

I thought it was a good match, Sandow looked pretty good. The ending was silly though, because they made their new tag team, that want to get over, get taken out by one kick, from one guy.

Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

Just adding on from Tyrion...

Long, back and forth, hard fought match/Ref bump/Big Show out the crowd/Then maybe?

Cody & Sandow hold Sheamus down for beating/He fights back and Brogues Cody/Low blow from Sandow as the numbers win out/WMD from Show to Sheamus/Then another WMD to Sandow as well, he falls down on top of Sheamus/Ref wakes up and counts/Big Show walks out/The end.

Sheamus is made to look like a fighter but at least beatable, the heels clearly needed 3 guys to take him out. Sandow gets to look good against Sheamus AND get the win, even if it wasn't clean. Big Show adds heat to his feud, knocks two guys out and looks like his own boss by the end. Cody looks like a chump, but he already does in this scenario. The heels all get heat and Sheamus gets face sympathy. But, no, we can't take the risk or maybe just can't be fucked....

Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

Too early for Sandow to beat Sheamus. Build him up before giving him victories over main eventers, especially if you're not going to follow up on that. Sandow is in the tag team tourney, him beating Sheamus makes no sense. I don't mind Sheamus going over, what I do mind is Sheamus going over BOTH Rhodes and Sandow. WWE are trying to build the tag team division, you don't do that by having Sheamus embarrass a tag team.

Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

I've kinda given up on expecting good booking from the WWE... I still shake my head in amazement that they are this stupid now, but it is what it is. The match was great, the finish was absolute shit. And that seems to be the key issue with any feud or storyline they might manage to drum up... it might be good for a bit, but then it crashes and burns and you are left staring at a smoking pile of rubble. Too bad it's only the fans that seem to desperately search for the little black box and try to prevent the wreck from happening again... the WWE seems quite content with crashing every single feud and storyline into the ground on top of its matches.

And this was with me only catching the last few minutes of that match... now I read that there was actually a perfectly simple interefence run available to add heat to the feud and the WWE managed to prove they can't do booking 101............. I just cannot wrap my head around the fact that the same guy is in control that was at the helm of the Golden Age and the Attitude Era and Ruthless Agression. McMahon has really, really lost it.

Thanks for the wonderful memories Ultimate Warrior... happy you got to be recognised as the legend you are before you went. Rest in peace

Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

Scary thing is, pyros right. Sandow in a tagteam isnt doing him any favours. Yes they are reviving the tag division and Sandow is a talent he could turn shit in to money but I kinda share the sentiment that being in a team is make or break. Don't get me wrong wins/losses dont mean a thing to me in fact im fine with an estabalished main event star pinning him clean my only grievances is it was on free tv when his first loss should have been on PPV cause that would put over an up an coming face as triumphing against evil so to speak. That and I worry that HHH's guys are going to be booked strong but when they come up against each other its going to look like which toy do I like better scenario and thats a dangerous game to play if your boys arnt main event players.

Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried

Sheamus winning by DQ would've made the most sense to me. Big Show should've attacked to further their feud so Sandow would've kept his unbeaten streak while not factoring in the decision. I don't agree with him winning because then he's a got a claim for the title and that's obviously not in the works at the moment so why waste his first win over the champ now instead of at a later date that could start a feud?

On a related note, Sheamus currently is almost at Super Cena in 2007 levels. Taking out 2 guys that are probably going to be going after the tag belts at the next PPV in one fell swoop? You've got to be kidding me.
