Sheamus and the "Debate"

What the hell was that? He wasn't serious for a second. He treated the whole thing like a big joke.

And what the hell was this 45 seconds thing? Was he just trying to be a douche for the hell of it? He mentioned Big Show losing the title in 45 seconds but he would obviously know that the "match" took place after a grueling battle with Mark Henry and then getting attacked by Henry after the match when Bryan cashed in the MITB. I'd like to see Dolph cash in MITB and beat Sheamus in 15 seconds.

Re: Sheamus and the "Debate"

The whole thing was a joke. A really, really bad joke. They had Seamus pulling Cena-esque jokes but the crowd wasn't buying it.

Show was actually funny in that skit and was one of the very few bright spots of the entire show. I actually like Big Show: just not when he's booked either as part of filler feuds or as an unstoppable "monster" every 6 months. The guy is actually pretty funny when he goes off script, like when his podium broke tonight.

Just like his counter part John Cena. Seriously Sheamus is just a pale red headed version of Cena. Same never takes anything serious joking smiling attitude.

Re: Sheamus and the "Debate"

This is the worst characteristic in faces, IMO. It just makes the heels look like idiots.

Heel will cut a great promo on Cena, while Cena just grins and makes other stupid faces. Kills the heel's points and promos. Then Cena gets the ultra serious last word. It's the shit that Sheamus is doing now.

At least when Cena starts taking things seriously he's quite good on the mic, one of the best but that was pretty awful. That segment made me appreciate Cena a lot more.

Re: Sheamus and the "Debate"

I got a hand print on my face from ing so hard.

It was like the Rock/Cena promo where Rock was trying to be serious & Cena wouldn't stop smiling.

Well true Cena is better on the mic than Sheamus, but then again so are alot of people. Although Cena can be quit good when he gets serious, but its always same old speech about "I will fight with everything i have!!!" he always comes off like he's giving some Braveheart speech.

Re: Sheamus and the "Debate"

I was hoping he would answer Larry King's question of how he stays so white lol. Also what what that thing on his forehead during the debate?

Exactly. I knew that Sheamus would just say a bunch of corny jokes and pander to the crowd.
