If Ryback does indeed draw im afraid for the future. hate Cena all you want but he can put on a great match sometimes and can deliver promos Ryback hasnt even come close to either with all the time given to him.
Why? It's a tried and tested model, a strong push will eventually start to shift cash like what they're doing right now with Sheamus, but specifically that 'big destroyer' kind of gimmick they've given Ryback has also worked in the past. I have no idea why; to me the idea of some dude screaming a little bit and having a minute long squash match only to leave again holds zero appeal. But hey, it floats a lot of boats.

Re: Ryback a draw?

Makes me yawn and almost fall asleep at the moment, never loved supermen, it's difficult for me to enjoy something that is alredy spoilered before the start. Of course this doesn't mean he will not be a draw cause most fans seems to enjoy predictable situations in wwe.

Because I honestly cant see Ryback being an interesting act once he is ultimately done with the squashes. Can he deliver great all time promos or deliver all time great matches. Goldberg was a huge draw for a very short time. WWE needs someone like Cena hell or even Sheamus to be a consistent draw.

They have pushed Ryback perfectly that the fans have eaten his act up. oh and just me I just cant see ppl like Ryback or Cena as babyfaces. How ppl that big play underdogs and stuff always amazes me.

Re: Ryback a draw?

I'm yet to be convinced about Ryback- how will he do when he has to take on people like Big Show or Mark Henry?

Layla, Daffney, Beth Phoenix. What more could a guy want?

Re: Ryback a draw?

I'm not fond of the Skip Van Goldbergback, but he can draw. They need to have him start mowing down mid card types. He's done enough peanut squashes by now. After 6 months or a year of mid card rampaging they need to have him squash CM Emo. I'd mark out for him if that happens.

Re: Ryback a draw?

Ryback is just starting to become a reliable draw when you put him in the right place, last week they did his squash match right after the Mick Foley segment. Ryback had impressive results so far in terms of holding viewers for his short matches, he started a mini Goldberg pattern in that aspect. A guy like him who has the look, the presence, the visually impressive style with the ability to catch the eye of the random TV viewer. He's going to be big with the right presentation.

Well he just squashed a midcarder in Tensai, and a upper midcarder The Miz, so it seems like he's graduated from jobbers and lowcarders.
