After the brutal events of Monday, it’s an opportune time to ask the question: What would happen if the “R”-rolling announcer were to break away from Alberto Del Rio and pursue his own career in WWE? Could Ricardo Rodriguez go on to a successful career that rivals that of his current employer? Or is he better suited, no pun intended, to life in the shadows? While he has shown flashes of brilliance, the only way to find out for sure is for the announcer to exchange his microphone, bowtie and perfectly parted hair for a pair of trunks and a chance at chasing his own destiny.
I only quoted the last paragraph, it's 4 pages long. I hope he goes solo, he is doing a lot of leg work for Del Rio and not getting enough credit for it. If not a fantastic wreslter (I don't know) hopefully a comedic one that I can enjoy since Santino isn't being used like he was back in EC 2012.
Re: Ricardo Rodriguez to go solo? (WWE.com article)
am i the only one who notices that these WWE.com reports are just trying to mimic dirtsheets? Has any of the stuff "reported" on WWE.com actually come to fruition? I can't recall the last article they reported on that actually happened. tbh, it's probably the WWE's way of poking fun at how speculative the dirtsheet world has always been.
I hope he does his own ring announcement if he does wrestle.
*spanishspanishspanishspanishspanish* Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiicaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrdooooooooooooooooooooooo *smiling jumping around in the ring* RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOdrrrriguez
followed by the realisation, that the mic doesn't deliver when announcing and raisin your hands jumping around
