This. Besides any chance of the WWE Title being the main event of SS was crushed when Big Show was put into the match. Punk/Cena has a big match feel. Punk/Cena/Show does not. I'm not even one of the Big Show haters who hates everything he does (hell I liked his promo on Raw with Punk, contrary to what many others think of it) but him being in the match just makes the match feel 100 times less important. We'll see what happens next week and see how they handle this, but Show right now is just a third wheel to the Punk/Cena feud. I guess they're trying to make it so Punk/Cena's next one on one match is at NOC, plus I guess since they do have Lesnar/HHH to main event the show if need be, they felt/feel less pressure to put effort into the WWE Title feud for Summerslam. In addition to all of that this can be played into Punk's next big "pipebomb" (if there even is one), which Raw's promo was kind of a preview to.

I'm more excited about a Ziggler/Jericho match if i'm honest.

Same old crap. Even Cena/Punk or Punk/Show would be watchable, but Punk, Cena and Show? F-That. Two are dire in ring. I preferred Rollins/McIntyre on NXT to Cena/Show debacle.

I didn't notice it till now, that certainly is fucked up, you'd think they would put more effort in booking these matches, fucking awful.
Do you realise how stupid that sounds? You didn't realise that they had so many DQ's but now that someone brought it to your attention you think that they need to go to more effort? So you're saying that having that pointed out has directly influenced the way you have perceived the last three weeks of the show?

:lmao

As for the OP, did you stop to think that it's no coincidence that those three matches that have ended in DQ's all involve the three participants in the Triple Threat match for the WWE championship at Summerslam? Why would they make any of the three of them look weak by having them lose clean leading in to it?

It's three weeks worth of booking for three matches, people saying they are doing the same thing as WCW are being completely ridiculous.

Hilarious really. Talk about a lack of rotation in the main events. For all of TNA's negative aspects that people discuss, I think the WWE should take something from their playbook; their main events differ quite a bit, and to me, feel a little more fresh.

i think it was obvious from the beginning these three were going to take place.

at least Punk was entertaining on commentary telling Jerry the King how it is

Except it wouldn't shock me if no one wins anything clean or at all in the Summerslam match either. They're setting up a Cena vs Punk main event at NOC, so something has to occur at Summerslam that knocks Big Show out of the picture but keeps Cena in it.

I suppose Punk pinning Show might be it, but how exactly is that going to occur?

I sai in another thread, I'll say it again: I really hope this Big Show & Cena crap will end after Summerslam. This is not 2003
anymore (their first and only likable feud), and their feud this year is beyond awfula dn I am serious about this, it might be the worst main feuds in WWE/WWF history.Enough already. Punk/Cena alone or with someone else is fine, but the Big Show period is tiresome.

WWE has no competition, so they can do whatever they want. And they do..their product is shit. But they are #1 every week so what do they care? At least when WCW was around WWE made sure they were better, they came out with their best stuff. Now they're in cruise control, straight to assville.

god i'm so tired of Big Show , he's a black hole that sucks the interest in any storyline ..

and it's so tired out , Cena will lift Big Show (i wouldn't rule punk being there too) and the commentators will put Cena over as if it's the first time he did it , even tho we saw the exact same shit 100 times over the last 8 years .. yawn

Almost let out a scream of anger when the match went to DQ and AJ walked out. I had predicted a DQ leading to a triple threat at Summerslam but prayed they'd think better of it. Nope! Why the faark would you put Big Show in this match?! The Rock has already said he'll face the champion at the Royal Rumble, and there's no way it's going to be Big Show vs The Rock, so sticking him in this match is beyond irrelevant. I was semi-excited about Cena vs Punk again after MITB 2011, but now I couldn't care less. Bring on Triple H vs Lesnar and Jericho vs Ziggler.

It's absolutely utterly boring and holds no interest for me what so ever.

I mean we've seen Cena/Show have a big time rivalry over the U.S Championship then another one again leading into WM and now we have it for a 3rd time except both are even less interesting than they were before. It's just unimaginative.

Even Cena/Punk (although it was great) we seen last year, I mean they can't even go a year without rehashing stories now?

I imagine as well that it'll only be a matter of time before Cena becomes WWE Champ again, it's inevitable really.

I catch up on RAW by watching the clips on WWE.com and even then I skip forward some of their videos, that's how boring its got and there was a time I wouldn't have missed an episode.

TNA is definitely turning out a much better product, I wish more people turned into watching that actually and gave them better ratings because they deserve something for their recent efforts.
