I saw him wrestle in Miami at the Wrestle Reunion. He didn't look too bad, as it definitely looks like he's lost some weight but I don't think he can do much more than he showed on RAW last night. I'd like to see him a few more times, though, including the Rumble and to get over some new guys or to squash a few jobbers.

I just don't think Vader would be able to compete very often, he's getting old and he got fucked up knees. I wouldn't mind seeing him make a few more appearances, mainly at 1000 RAW and possibly in the future to guide the career of his son. Honestly, he should be inducted next year, go out on a high note.

Also, how do people figure he looks the same as he did 14-15 years ago? Are you serious?

Vader was an awesome surprise, but there's no reason for him to wrestle every week, he still looks the same but he's great as a special attraction. He was the most over guy on the show which is not a surprise as he was the bigger star than this entire brand combined besides Cena and Show.

I was legit surprised at that. Shit was cool. Vader always looked like a dog when he climbed the steps; leaning over to push up on the top step while stepping on to the bottom. Brought back memories of when I first really started to get in to WWF after being a big WCW fan. When he and Gorilla Monsoon were feuding, and Cornette was his manager. Him and HBK used to beef. Shit...he beefed with a lot of the top stars in that era. Was a nice one night only appearance. Keep it at that.

Waste of time for you maybe, guy had a bigger reaction than anyone last night. The crowd loved the surprise and so did I. Only took up 6 minutes out of a 3 hour show, and a young guy got some mic time to get himself over and looked great. Not a waste of time in the least bit, hyped up a future event and a huge majority of people enjoyed it.

It was great to see Vader back and he looked awesome in the ring for his age.

Get him in on a years contract, have one of the younger guys feud with him leading up to next years 'Mania, have him undefeated up until then (doesn't have to wrestle week in week out) and then have the younger wrestler defeat him in a retirement match at 'Mania. Younger guy gets the status of retiring the monster and Vader gets the run he always deserved in WWE as well as one last hurrah, everyone's a winner. Could perhaps even lead to some kind of angle where the younger guy becomes obsessed with ending the careers of older wrestlers, perhaps give him a run with someone like Shawn Michaels or Mick Foley before the big one at Wrestlemania where he ends The Undertaker's streak and closes the lid on the casket. Up to you who you feel should take up that role though.

It was awesome seeing him again and I'd love to see him in the occasional squash match but no he shouldn't be facing any top star. It was hard for him to get up after doing an elbow or anything going to the ground. He also had trouble turning to his side to attempt a pin. No need to tarnish his legacy like Hart, Flair, and many others have done.

While this is true, it's also worth a shout that they could still do this - at least I hope so. Not necessarily 'mega' heel, but he could definitely get some heat out of this. If in the lead-up to 1000, they keep pitting Slater against old legends, say Slaughter or Piper or more unexpected people (like Vader), and he keeps losing, then on the episode before or on the 1000th episode itself, have a legend come out to take him on, pretty fun atmosphere, crowd laughing at Slater about to get beaten again, and have him beat the pure living shit out of whoever the legend is. Coupled with the 'how am I supposed to be wrasslin' when it's dark?' fiasco from a few weeks ago, I reckon Slater as a bit of a self-obsessed psycho could work quite well. And this is coming from someone who hasn't thought very highly of him for the majority of his fairly lacklustre career.

I enjoyed it. I don't see why he can't stick around for a little while.

I'd have him win a couple of matches, then, he's slated to wrestle someone (for arguments sake, let's say Khali) We get Vaders music and he's in the ring. Khali's music hits but he isn't there, we cut to backstage and Khali is flat on the floor.

Cue Ryback's music. Ryback beats Vader. That would be cool. #

I'd also be super impressed if Ryback could pull out his finisher on Vader. That would be strength :)

I don't see why not. I'm sure we'll see him in the Rumble. It'd be nice to see him compete again on the 100th episode.

He got a great pop from the audience and they were into it. His in-ring skills are still there and being a legend he could be used to put some guys over.

Regardless of his age, having him back in the ring would not be terrible.
