I only hate how there is blood so rarely. And usually when theres blood its because somebody botched something.
I prefer the lack of blood, I didn't get into watching wrestling to see people cut themselves, but on the other hand it can add to the match, but the less they have blood, the more it will mean.
I thought it was because of John Cena since the kids and women hang of his every move in the WWE Lol. Might be wrong but thats what I heard around here before lol.
I think the rating revolves a bit around the top stars. When Hogan was your top star its was kid friendly. When DX, Austun and Rock were the moneymakers they added some more sex, blood, and edge then usual. Now that the big stars are Cena, Hardy and Mysterio I can see why they pander to kids these days. When they find another badass beer chugging SOB, a guy who refers to male and female genetalia as pastries and baked goods or a faction who can get big breasted women to flash them at live events is when they will pander to the teen and young adults again.
^Ya, all those matches were great, one of(if not the) greatest HIAC match at SS last year was under PG rating, no announce table broken, no blood, no fighting ontop of the cell and the match was still great.
Really? I thought it was quite bad to be honest.

Got it? now shut up.
Last year's HIAC WAS bad. And the I Quit match between JBL and Cena took place before the change to PG.
Honestly....the most PG thing I've heard so far from any WWE broadcast was that Jeff Hardy promo on SmackDown in December when he chanted "liar! liar!" at Edge That was just embarrassing...at least he didn't say "pants on fire", at the end.
Blame the c*nty parents who whine about sex and violence and the idiot kids who decide to immitate the moves and hurt themselves.
Well if the kids still decide to imitate the wrestlers they can still get hurt and now WWE can't even use, "It's rated TV-14 your kids really shouldn't be watching it"
I would imagine that there was a lot more thought into lowering the rating than Linda McMahon joining the school board. WWE probably felt that they were losing adult viewers and decided that their best bet was to begin marketing the product to the younger generation in hopes of creating new fans. I mean WWE is a huge corporation and I honestly don't think they would make such a drastic change to the content of their shows unless they felt it would be a profitable business decision.

I think they changed the program to PG because they feel more money is to be made if WWE is a family show. Thus they have extended their show more towards women and especially kids.
The problem is they need more creative material and booking on their program because a lot of things they do now especially on RAW has been shit for a while now. They started off so well on the Road to WrestleMania. I hope they get it together but bringing Eugene back and pushing Hornswoggle every week doesn't give me much hope.
