Pretty simple thread. Just select your 3 favorite HBK matches and explain your picks!
Obviously Shawn has a LOT of great matches, so I just picked the 19 I thought were the best, although a few didn't make the cut, such as v. Bulldog @ KOTR 96, v. Mr. Perfect @ Summer Slam 93, v. Kurt Angle II @ Vengeance 05, and v. HHH @ Bad Blood 04, but I think I got most of everyone's favorites in here. Of course, just select "other" if one of your favorite matches isn't on here.
My favorite were:
Mind Games: It was really hard to pick between this and WMX, but Foley and Shawn really brought it in this match. I also condsider this to be one of the most underrated matches of all-time. Shawn was pretty incredible in 1996, but this match really stood out to me. Of all the amazing work Shawn had in 1996, this match really sealed the deal for Michaels as king of the world that year.
Badd Blood 97: Everything about this match was awesome. The build leading into it, it being the first HIAC match ever, and everything Shawn put his body through in this match was just awesome. This is one of my favorite matches of all-time. I find it hard-to-believe that anyone would not be absolutely blown away by this match. HBK and DX were ganging up on Taker for weeks and the HIAC was designed to resolve this rivalry once and for all, even though Kane's debut eventually prevented that. If it hadn't happened the same year as Bret v. Austin @ Mania 13, it surely would've been MOTY. I don't even think Sting v. Hogan @ Starrcade 97 touched this match.
Wrestlemania XIV: Not only was this my favorite HBK entrance ever, but this still ranks #1 as my favorite match of all-time. The match itself wasn't as good as their enounter at KOTR 97, but it's nothing short of amazing what he and Austin were able to do that night. Austin's neck was still seriously injured from his match with Owen at Summerslam 97 and Shawn was suffering from a ruptured disk from Royal Rumble 98. Both of them were in extraordinary amounts of pain that night, and they headlined Wrestlemania and tore the house down. Oh, and "that guy" Mike Tyson just happened to be there, lol. I also believe this match was the definitive beginning of the Attitude era and told a story like few other matches in professional wrestling history.
WM25 v Undertaker: Because it was the best one on one match I've ever seen, both guys did everything they could think of to try and get the win, it was worked to perfection, the atmosphere, even on tv, was nothing short of amazing, it was one of the few matches in recent WWE history that truly lived up to and even surpassed the hype.
SummerSlam 02 v HHH: I don't know why, but somehting about this match was just so special for me to see, having HBK return and him and HHH beating the hell out of each other that way.
My third choice was the handicap match against Rated RKO the Raw after HHH injured his quads again. It may seem like a strange choice, but there it is. The first half of the match might not have seemed too special, but the way he countered the con-chair-to and went on to destroy Randy Orton with the sledgehammer was just fun to watch.

Jericho: Look at how he methodically works the back! That's MY influence!

Jericho: Maybe I should, I'm better than you!
WM25 vs Underrtaker. Breathtaking, Shean took so much punishment that night.
WM vs Bret Heart Iron man. Both these guys showed how good the WWE is.
Royal Rumble 2004, Last Man Standing vs HHH. This is one of the bloodiest fights i`ve ever seen. Check out this vid of them backstage after the fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02sHm...om=PL&index=18
Good poll choices, you got most of my favourites on there but one you missed probaby deserves an honourable mention. Survivor Series 2003, Team Austin vs Team Bischoff, where it came down to him and Orton and he only lost after Batista interfered. It isn't in my top 3 but I would put it ahead of HBK/Taker at WM25.

1. HBK/HHH Street Fight at Summerslam 2002: Will always be my favorite Shawn Michaels match of all time just because I waited so long for this man to comeback in the ring and he did not let me down one bit. He was as good as he ever was. Was almost like he never left it was amazing. And he couldn't have done it with a better person honestly. To be in his first match back in 4 years with his best friend was something to always remember.
2. HBK v. Chris Jericho WMXIX: Has special value to me because it was his first mania in 5 years and he and Jericho tore the house down. Such great storytelling, and amazing match up.
3. HBK vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 25: My dream wrestlemania match honestly and I was glad it happened. Didn't get any better than this mr wrestlemania vs the man who is undefeated at mania in their homestate. Story was there and everything all the hype was there to live up to and they lived up to it imo. One of the best matches in a very very long time and one of the best of all time. Just an epic encounter.
v Razor Ramon - Wrestlemania X - It was one of the first big matches like this in the WWE which meant it was one of the first big matches I seen like this. Also its from one of the first Wrestlemania's I saw from start to finish so it sticks out to me for that reason as well.
v Mankind - In Your House 10 - To me this match is a great example of two guys bringing out the best of each other. Foley got himself into great shape for this match and actually went out and wrestled Michaels for close to thirty minutes. In some ways I enjoy this match more for Mick's performance but it is a classic IMO.
v Kurt Angle - Wrestlemania 21 - This is an absolute classic. Two of the best in the world at the time going at it on the biggest show of the WWE year and they didnt dissapoint.
1. Vs Bret Hart (Wrestlemania XII) Best wrestlemania match of all time.
2. Vs Undertaker (Wrestlemania XXV) Best match ever between two of my favotites of all time.
3. Vs Marty Janetty (Raw) For a Rockers fan like me this was awesome MOTY 1993
