Default How did Raw survive ?

After the Attitude era, wwe kinda went on a slump and especially during the span of 2002-2005
Raw was pretty damn boring they use to have their own ppvs every other month and it was pretty bizare if you ask me, to be hounest the only that that kept that show[raw] alive was evoloution they got most of the attention and they were exciting to watch well kinda lmao

your thoughts ?

Raw had like 8M people watching during the attitude era, if I'm not mistaken, they have like 5-6M people watching today.

Still real good numbers. Unless Raw gets consistent under 3 ratings then they'll be fine no matter the era.

US population around 270mil in 1999 and around 300mil now. So not that big of a change.
If WWE had around 9mil viewers that it would be in level with 1999 accounting for population change.

Raw survived because Vince kept it alive plain and simple. He made his product consistent with the time and new fads continuing as well. The PG Ara is just an example and will be part of his course to change wrestling once again.

Also, many casual fans still watch Raw out of habit because Raw is a Monday night tradition in a sense because it's been on so long.

Shawn Michaels played a big part in it as well. Rumors of him possibly returning were rampant throughout the entire Attitude era after he left at WM14. It was a pretty big deal for wrestling fans when he finally came back. I know that's mainly why I was watching Raw. I honestly didn't give a damn about Evolution. I hated the name. I wasn't crazy about Flair and Orton. And it wasn't even Triple H's best stable. I know a lot of other fans liked it, but I just wasn't impressed.

Eric Bischoff was another reason I liked it.
