Re: Why wasn't Chavo Guerrero Jr. moved to another brand?
There was a similar thread earlier last week. On it, I said he should return to ECW where he could have some matches with the likes of Bourne, Helms, Kidd and Christian where he would at least have looked like an equal (this was before Evan was drafted to Raw obviously).
But I'd like to go into the past and suggest something that could have helped him to gain real credability. Back in 02/03 he was teaming with Eddie as Los Guerreros and they were tag champs with Eddie also holding the US title. Eddie dropped the US title to Big Show and the next week they lost the tag totles to MNM. This led to fued between them. Instead of this, I would had Eddie hold onto the US but lose the tag belts and have Los Gurreros continue as a loose alliance. Chavo would have had some singles matches and eventually become no.1 contender for Eddies belt. They would have had a face/face match where Eddie would have really put him over in a losing effort, before moving onto the program with Lesnar for the WWE title. Chavo, having got a great rub from his uncle, would have continued to defend his title until it became obvious that he (a) needed to drop it due to nobody caring or (b) got sufficiently over to move on to bigger and better things.

I agree about Rey but I wouldn't have minded Chavo getting a bigger push. Don't forget, they were so close in age that they were more like brothers than uncle and nephew.

But notice Chavo has never been known to use"stuff" until after his uncle Eddie died so that had to have played a roll in that. The WWE can give him a break

He really should've been sent back to SD!. I don't think he'll ever get a big push like he did when he won the ECW Title, but at least on SD!, he can have great matches, whereas on RAW he'll just job out in 3 or so minutes.

I would like if they turned Chavo face. It has always bugged me how the crowd would boo him for using Eddie's moves. Of course Chavo is a heel and that is his job, I understand this. I just don't like seeing a very good wrestler get booed for paying tribute to his uncle who is an all time great, IMO.

I think that's partly because he doesn't do them very well. His Frog Splash in particular looks terrible, in fact, it's no better than Hornswoggle's
