Professional Wrestlers Signed; Debut Show Announced; More!
Ric Flair today held another press conference, just 4 days after announcing the formation of Strong Style Symphony. In this conference, Flair had some interesting things to relay to the press, including the formation of Strong Style Symphony’s debut show!!
Earlier on today in North Carolina, Ric Flair revealed the progression of Strong Style Symphony was almost complete. Flair revealed that over the past 4 days, and before hand, he had been in talks with wrestling stars both in the mainstream and in the Independent circuit and he had secured fixed contracts for many wrestlers to star and compete in Strong Style Symphony. Flair wouldn’t divulge any names however, announcing his respect to those guys and their companies, announcing his intention to do things by the book in a proper manner.
However, one thing Flair could reveal was the date of the debut edition of SSS! Although no fixed TV deal was in place, Flair had been able to secure a one night only, two hour slot on the FX Network, allowing himself and the wrestlers of Strong Style Symphony to be able to showcase their stuff on a worldwide stage, for one night at least. The broadcast would go out 17 days in the future to the date of the announcement; Tuesday, 2nd September 2008!
Flair revealed that although no matches had been scheduled, he was ready to take the hot seat and was in the process of securing some matches for the debut show, promising a spectacle of hard hitting, amazing professional wrestling. The heat was now on for Ric Flair and Strong Style Symphony but it didn’t seem like Flair himself was feeling it. He was relishing it.

Where is Cheerleader Melissa when you need her? Damn. And Gail, please come back. WWE still thinks that Candice is the next Trish, but the fact is that she never will be. Her lack of skills in the ring is unbearable and it's a problem that won't be fixed. WWE thinks she is a big draw and that the best thing would be to bring her back to the ring asap. They should have sent her down to FCW to work on her ring rust and basic wrestling skills and ability. It's kind of the same thing with John Cena. While he is not terrible in the ring, his skills are limited. I sure hope along with the character repackage, that they put him back in development for a month or two to work on his skills. If he continues with the same style, he will be bashed no matter face or heel.

I have to say I really liked Candice before she got injured but what she's doing right now is just horrible. She botches a lot - too much in my opinion. What happened to her? I mean, last year I really thought that she improved and that she gets better with every match but what I'm seeing now is just bad. Not that only her ring-work got worse even her once good looks got worse not to mention that crappy theme...

This is practically what i was going to say. She has become a lot worse in the ring and i don't understand why talented divas such as Mickie should take the backseat for Divas such as Candice just makes no sense to me.

Last time I watched TNA (Sunday) she was Kong's manager. She had one match as Melissa, but that was only once and she's not having matches on a regular basis as Saeed.

Yeah, but your post was about an in-ring debut which she has made as both, so it becomes redundent.
Besides, its only a matter of time until they split them up.
