Batista/Cena, quite easily. His match with HBK at Backlash is a distant second. They're all good matches though, his had a good year so far.

The ONS match for me, I was surprised at the extent HBK put over Batista.. it made sense and it told a decent story.

his best match in 2008 was deffiantly vs Cena at Summerslam.

Isnt been as good as 2007 quality wise but still better then his older years . Well except the hhh batista which was pretty nice.,

It has to be Tista/Cena. It had a "huge match" atmosphere and hype, and it lived up to it. The technical wrestling was not as good as with HBK, but the match flowed great and had a fantastic finish. The story of the match was better than the Tista/HBK story at Backlash by a wide margin as well IMO. ONS Stretcher Match comes in second for me because of all the different elements put together so well in that match with Jericho and Batista's mockery of HBK's "I love you."

I'm gonna have to say that Batista does not very often put on good matches. I mean, he's got a good personality and he's entertaining, he's just not a very good wrestler.

To be fair, the thread starter didn't ask you whether you thought Batista was a good wrestler. He asked what you thought his best match was this year. If you didn't have any input in that regard, maybe you could have kept the off-topic thought to yourself.

Batista vs Cena was the most intense to me, even though the build-up could have been better.

I thought the ONS match with HBK was the best. Mainly because I don't like HBK and he got the shit kicked out of him. The Cena match would have been better if it was built up a bit more maybe for like a Survivor Series match but obviously that wouldnt have taken place.
