I don't understand the heat Candice gets on here. To be perfectly honest, Candice improved the most last year out of the whole Women's divison. She was very consistent in the ring and her matches with Melina and Beth Pheonix were pretty solid. She then returned really early when she was not fully healed and although re-injuring herself, she still pulled out a gutsy performance in the ring and impressed me with her dedication to the business and her intentions of finishing the match. Albeit, re-injuring herself, she was on fire in that ring. Then she's out again for 5 or so months and returns having only been in one match in 10 months. This was her second time in the ring and true, she was sloppy. She screwed up two spots and seemed off her game. But at least she admitted that in her blog on WWE.com.
Here is someone who is trying to become a fairly good worker in the Women's division. Yet people insult her for getting that mega push. So what? Mickie James gained a pretty decent reign this year and of course they were going to continue the feud between Candice and Beth as soon as Candice returned. They were going in that route when Candice returned before WrestleMania. Then she severely injured herself again and people got to witness a Mickie push once Ashley had departed from the company. Now mentioning this, I see why some people do complain here about Mickie's Womens title win. Sure, the push wasn't intended for her but needless to say, she did gain a strong push and even went over Beth clean in a non-title match on Raw. Beth came out of the match looking really weak and Mickie really strong.
It was logical booking to revive this rivlary between both. Their final encounter with one another where Candice first got injured was really good. The fans were really into it from start to end. I guess the WWE want to resurrect that feeling as now this is personal between the two of them. It may take a while for the fans to get behind Candice. They were starting to warm to her before she left but seeing as she's been out a long period of time, the fans have really been backing Mickie (for a LONG time) and have embraced her as the main female babyface. Especially taking into consideration that she just lost the Womens belt recently, the fans obviously want to see her win it back from Beth. But one day, I know Mickie's time will come again (and I hope it does being a fan of hers). But it's time for somebody else to take the spotlight as we've seen Beth/Mickie A LOT this year.
But the hate on here is beyond ridiculous. Candice has proven she can work some pretty entertaining matches with Beth Phoenix. There is a reason for these two to feud so why are they not allowed to? If anything, it makes the Womens title more credible. Candice wants the belt back and will do anything and everything in her power to regain it. Beth is the dominating heel who has decimated Candice, Melina and Mickie. She injured Candice and now, Candice is back to try and gain sweet revenge by defeating Beth and ultimately, obtaining the Womens belt. A heated rivalry is one of the best ways to get over the importance of a title and to make it mean something. Especially when someone injured that individual to retain the belt and that very person is back to fulfil their destiny of once again regaining that belt and in the process, being victorious over their enemy. So how this is allowing the divison to go downhill is beyond me.
However, I can understand some frustration from the majority of you. Katie Lea is being buried, which to me is a really senseless thing to do. Mickie James appears to be heading back to the most over babyface ready to job every week, which again, is a shame. Jillian in still doing that annoying singing gimmick and may never get to display her true potential in the ring.
And Kelly Kelly has improved also this year but she isn't as solid in the ring as Candice. Between the two, Candice has had the better matches (especially with Beth) and the in-ring action has been far more crisp. However, I would say Kelly is slightly more over than Candice. Just my opinion.
Nevertheless, the Beth Phoenix/Candice Michelle rivalry makes sense to me and is not taking a negative effect on the division whatsoever. But that is just my opinion. As you can see I've attempted to balance out my explanation. But some of the posts in here have been beyond ridiculous.
For example, when someone wishes harm on another human being, you're a tool. I won't mention who but you should know who you are. Hoping Candice re-injures herself again is a very horrid thing to say. Grow up.

Are you actually being serious? They did the Melina and Beth feud to TURN Melina face and they did a damn good job! She was over and then her injury had to happen. Seriously, your love for Kelly isn't helping what you're saying. Next you're gonna say that Kelly is more over and is a better wrestler
