Damn, that really sucks. I hope nothing really big comes out of this, like him missing a good chunk of time, seeing as he just got back.

I doubt that, Batista or HBK can slide into the number one face spot for a little while.

This would be a huge blow for the WWE if Cena were to be down for a long time. Like I said, he's one of the top workers in the WWE today, and he's had some great PPV matches. Hopefully it's not too serious.

i agree this guy shows some amazing sportsman ship in this business. he has alot of respect for the crowd even when they arent cheering him.

Damn, if it's possible it could be a real problem, he's better off taking the time he needs now. Although he's a key part of the show, it's better to take a shorter time now than wait till things get any worse and have to be out for longer.

And I guess now isn't too bad a time for Raw to lose someone if they have to. They've got Orton out, admittedly, but all the other faces apart from Cena on the roster are okay so they can manage. Better than if it he'd been on Smackdown. If he needs time, now's really one of the best times to take it that they can ask for. Although, he could take a back seat and act in something of a manager role for Cryme Time if they want to keep him on TV for the star power but also rest him.

Still, it really is looking bad for the more established new guys right now, isn't it? Orton, Cena, Umaga, Edge (new to the main event at least), Kennedy...All the next generation of upper midcard/main event guys are dropping like flies right now. It's really only the older guys and the next next generation like Punk who are around at the moment.
