This would be a huge blow for the WWE if Cena were to be down for a long time. Like I said, he's one of the top workers in the WWE today, and he's had some great PPV matches. Hopefully it's not too serious. |

Absolutely horrible news at the moment but at the same time if Cena takes off, they might actually build Punk as a serious champion/challenger.

I agree, Raw will take a huge blow no doubt. But if he has to take a few monthes off to get ready for the stretch run. Then he should do it.

That's a good point. Cena hasn't had a 1 on 1 feud with Punk while Batista has. So if Cena was to leave, that would elimate the possible feud with Cena, Batista most likely won't get another 1 on 1 title shot, and that would leave Punk to face heels and get a better opportunity at getting more over/credible.
They should of been having Punk team up with Cena and Batista anyway. Faces get over together...

Neck issues are never a good thing so I hope he takes some time off to avoid it becoming too serious like a Austin type situation cause I would hate to see that happen with Cena. But Cena is a guy who obviously takes pride in what he does and is one hell of a work addict that he may be insane enough to gut it out as long as possible.
Edit: ^^^Yeah true about Punk thats why they gotta keep working on making sure Punk can keep being a serious main player even after he loses the belt cause of stuff like this.
