As much as I want to see Cena in the ring, he needs to take all the time he needs and not pull an Angle. If that means he's sidelined for a year than so be it. It'd suck for him to be out that long but I'd rather have him take the right amount of time off instead of returning early and potentially shortening his career.

Bad luck for Cena. Not my favourite wrestler (I´d say just entertainer maybe) but at less I think he tries to improve.

i have a feeling this might be a fake injury... kayfabe... because his latest movie, 12 Rounds (2009), is in post-production... maybe he is needed to reshoot scenes for it... so he needs some time off from wrestling for a while to work on the movie...

edit : i think Cena is trying to making an acting career... he has been in more commercials... and now doing more movies... he might be getting hurt more or taking more time off here and there...

Injury's are never good no matter who the wrestler is i hope Cena has a speedy recovery and gets back in action soon. But i think this injury is a fake i wouldn't mind Cena having another run as champion maybe a heel turn is in line.

This sucks. I was starting to like Cena again. Hopefully he gets better and returns soon.

And people say Kennedy is a magnet to injury.

I won't expect to see Cena back for the next 1-2 years, if its as bad as its being said.

Cena is a machine when it comes to recovering though.

I wouldn't be all too surprised if he shows up again in about 6 months. That would be the minimum though.

If this injury keeps him out for a year, I really pray that the fans won't boo him when he arrives. The man deserves a standing ovation for the dedication he has for the company, nothing less.

When I first heard this on RAW I also thought it was a work, because the night after SummerSlam Cena was in a match and he seemed to be fine. He was also taking alot of shots to the neck and his arms were moving fine. If he got hurt at SS, wouldn't they not have him wrestle the next night, or at least have him wrestle in a tag team or squash match? Or maybe he wasn't in that much pain the next night so he felt fine to wrestle.

Who knows though, it does seem to be legit, and there's really no way we can tell if it is or not, so I'm going to believe that it is real. With that said, get well soon Cena.
