Not sure where I should post this, so I'm going to post it here to encourage viewership.

Just joined this site, as a long time wrestling fan who's son is now getting into it. I go back to the Bruno Sammartino days live in Madison Square Garden; saw Dusty Rhodes live in the old NWA in some auditorium in West Palm Beach; Enjoyed the Superstar Billy Graham days; suffered through the Bob Backlund era; Had my picture in the WWF Magazine holding a homemade sign, when signs were just becoming something people brought to wrestling shows; went to Great American Bash last month at Nassau Coliseum & the house show at MSG Saturday night.

I wanted to comment on various ideas floating around on here, and rather than do it individually, I decided to use my introductory post to include my comments. I hope you don't mind.

Chris Jericho is absolutely the best thing the WWE has going for it right now. From skill in the ring to skill with the mic, he's simply the best there is.

How William Regal can accept losing to Pedro Colon in the opening match of the night at MSG is ridiculous. The guy can stand toe-to-toe with the top guys in the sport, outwrestle most of them, has a good amount of power, etc. Sucks to be William Regal right now I guess. For the most part the show as MSG was awful. I'll only go to Pay-per-view events from now on, as you know titles will never change hands at a house show.

I want to see blood in the matches. I want to see viciousness in the matches. I want to see brutality in the matches. I do not want to see watered down crap trying to pass itself off as professional wrestling. If you do not like it, then do not watch it, or do not let your children watch it. I'm the one buying the tickets for my kids. My 11 year old knows that when there's blood they most likely did it to themselves, and they're getting paid the big bucks. Approach it like it's just another type of entertainment that isn't real, and the kids can see all the blood & violence they want. It's make-believe. They see it in movies & TV all the time.

On that same note, I truly enjoyed the Chris Jericho-Shawn Michaels match at the GAB. To see the viciousness of Jericho & the bleeding on Michael's was great. Jericho just never disappoints.

Chris Jericho is up there as one of my favorites of all time. I also loved watching Randy Savage, Jessie Ventura, and the greatest period of wresting ever - The NWO!

I loathe John Cena, CM Punk, and HBK. I hate everything about them. HHH I can take or leave. I never want to see Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin in a ring again. I like the Cody Rhodes/Ted DiBiase team & I see a bright future for them. Undertaker is the Undertaker - one of the best ever, if not the best ever. Divas should go the way of the abdominal stretch as a submission hold. Women should not be in the ring; not when I'm paying money to watch.

Just wanted to introduce myself & update my thoughts on various topics. I look forward to being a part of these boards in the future.

HBK is easy to loathe. Everything he's done over the years shows HBK is out for HBK and that's all he's about. He's got an ego the size of Madison Square Garden. I know...he's changed...BS. He's a self-serving punk.

CM Punk is a little harder to explain, but here goes. He's a little guy with some talent. Except for the fact that Vince wanted him as champ, there's no way he becomes champ. In other words, he'd get his ass handed to him if he was in a real fight with any of 20 guys on the Raw roster right now, except for the fact that Vince (or the other creative forces) want him as champ. He will remain as just another placeholder in the history of great champions.
