I am by no means a Jericho mark, but I love his work. He could be put in a feud with Khali or Colin Delaney and make it entertaining, edge of the seat stuff. Admittedly, he would stuggle to feud with Delaney at this moment in time!

Definately in the top 10 of all time for all round skills...

"Ask any fan today who wrestling's most valuable asset is today, ring work and promo wise. The answers do not lie. It is Chris Jericho: the greatest wrestler alive."

As much as I love Jericho, I have to disagree with this. If you ask me, Edge is the most valuable asset in the WWE today. His promos have really stood out because of their brilliance. He's having an amazing year and only seems to get better.

Jericho is bringing a great deal to the table with this feud. I haven't seen Orton in some time and I can't really remember any reactions he received so I'm not going to randomly compare him to Jericho.

His character in this feud (and overall now for that matter) is to be the guy who doesn't give a damn what the crowd thinks anymore. He does get great reactions. I heard them. Seems like there are more "blind" hate remarks towards Jericho in this thread than anything else. He is supposed to be serious, that's his role now.

This is easily the best feud in the WWE right now. Don't people jump at me for saying that now. Edge and Undertaker's feud is pretty much over now.

Jericho and HBK's feud is starting to pick up and if the WWE writers are smart, they will keep this one going for even longer.

Well, I agree with that article. Jericho's my favourite of all-time.
I think his work as of late has been brilliant and he's playing the serious heel perfectly IMO. I've always thought he makes the most out of whatever situation he's in, whether it be the opening of the show, a quick 5 minute match or the main event, I always enjoy watching his work, right through his career.

Though I would not call him the best alive,he's definitely in the top10.The first couple are Flair, HBK, Taker, Edge, Rock, Austin...they could/can electrify the fans, and IMO Jericho can't do it yet.Don't get me wrong,I love his work, especially with HBK,but it needs a partner, and it's Shawn on purpose.Jericho's established himself as the top heel of RAW,but he can't surpass Edge (yet).I would love to see a conflict with Orton,so I'm waiting anxiously for his return, and with all the ME faces currently on RAW,I hope Jericho wins the title at No Mercy, and after seven years ultimately captures the WHC again

Jericho is great actually he is in the top 10 without a guess. But for example in the Jericho/HBK feud Jericho isn't doing all the work for example HBK acted like he was really going to retire in the Promo on RAW. Thats something many people cant do. HBK, Flair, Rock, Austin, Hart are all in front of him. Dont get me wrong IMO Y2J is better then HHH but not then these 5.

In the ring, only Cena, HBK and Edge are on par with Jericho right now. Seriously, people need to realise that the 'E have given Chris fuck all by way of quality opponents and match time since his return. All he's had is HBK (of which he owned the ring in that one) and had to work his ass off to pull out two quality matches from Jeff Hardy. If he'd been working with Hunter, Taker and Batista all year like the three I mentioned have been, his year year would easily eclipse theirs.

Why is he better than Orton? Does the term 'One Dimensional' ring a bell? Orton is a heel. That's it. He can do arrogant (not very well) and cold psychopath (brilliantly). That's all. Jericho does comedic face, serious face, comedic heel, and right ultimately cold and THE MOST REALISTIC VILLAIN IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING TODAY It was Orton, but Jericho's surpassed him. JBL? Cartoonish. He's Lex fucking Luthor. Edge? He's pure cartoon. When he's in comedy heel mode, I'll admit that Jericho is cartoonish too, but right he's the only one who's proven that he can play it every way. Look at Triple H. Yes, he's great, but I'm sorry, the man cannot do serious as a character as a face. It's embarassing. Stating a catchphrase in a gruff voice is not acting. He's limited.

But no, I would not say that Jericho is the best wrestler alive today in all departments. It might be rammed down our throats that Triple H holds that mantel, but quite honestly, when he's given the kind of exposure he usually gets in TNA (not right now), it's Christian fucking Cage.
