^ cuz no one really cares about Kennedy. He isnt a main event star like Orton.
HAHA! With an avatar for evidence and a name of RKO... I can pretty much tell that when commenting on why they didn't broadcast Kennedy's injury but they did broadcast Orton's, your opinion doesn't really count.

If it was a single vehicle accident and no cops were called and no accident report was given then how would the local media even KNOW about it?

Just saying, the WWE.com article does mention emergency services being present.
I originally though Punk would go over JBL at SS then drop it to a returning Randy Orton, but now that Orton is out until November, I'm not sure. If Punk holds it until Orton Returns in November, 1) That gives Punk a credible reign, and 2) might build a Punk-Orton rematch for WrestleMania. Orton's injury may be the best thing that ever happened to Punk!!
I'm kind of shocked WWE pulled this stunt.
High Ridge EMS services told me there where no motorcycle crashes the past week.
Does WWE really think it can pull this stuff off? All it took was one phone call (my work gives me access to all 9-1-1 across the county for our business). DISMISSED.

Unless you are a Nielsen family, what you watch means nothing.
Wrestling forum ratings mean nothing. Keep your asterisks to yourself.
Geoff Johns is a hack.
Do you guys feel the uncontrollable urge to ruin everything that the WWE tries? IF this turns out to be a work, then i applaud the WWE for even trying something like this to surprise everyone. But, in true smark fashion you guys have been ringing up authorities and doing your best to completely kill this story. It's almost like you don't want to be surprised or get any enjoyment out of anything the wwe does.
I shouldn't have come on this thread really, because in a way it's kinda ruined it for me. Until now, i hadn't even considered the possibility that this re-injury was fake. I would've watched Summerslam and been really surprised if Orton made a surprise return during a match. WWE would've succeeded in shocking me and i would be pleasantly surprised. Now, i'll be half-expecting it if he does do a run-in.
This is a prime example of why smarks really ruin things at time. You find it impossible to just let things pan out; instead you do everything you can to try and show us all how you're one step ahead of the show. It's quite distressing.

No offense, but I don't understand why the story is created in the first place. If A: He is going to take more time off, there is no need to aggravate the injury storyline. If B: He is making a return at Summerslam or sooner than expected, that just makes the WWE look terrible and furthermore makes it look like anyone can return from a motorcycle accident in record time.
To the above poster, I respect your opinion, however, the good thing is a lot of us do not just give in to what we are told like lemmings, especially in this type of situation. This isn't a storyline type situation *I.E. Vinny Mac gets blown up on TV* but a real life incident. When there is no correalating information to verify the incident, of course it's our duty to probe the issue.
If we didn't do this with the press, the New England Patriots would still be accused of taping the St Louis Rams Superbowl practice, for example.

Why do you read these threads if you don't want to know this stuff? Examples... I haven't watched ECW yet, therefore I don't go to the ECW section until I've watched the show. Same with SD... I don't read the spoilers until I have watched the show. If you are reading this thread and see someone is going to find out the truth, STOP READING IT!!!

To be fair, i read this afternoon on wrestlezone.com that Orton had apparently re-injured the collarbone. I came on here and found this thread that is called 'randy orton reinjures collarbone' so i went to the last page to see if there was any new info on his condition. How was i supposed to know that there was all this investigating being done by everyone trying to find out if WWE had set all this up?
It just feels to me that the WWE might be trying to surprise us with something. I don't just swallow anything that WWE does, but i can see when they're trying to do something different so i like to see it pan out. It just seems to me that with a lot of people on here (not everybody), as soon as they even slightly detect that WWE might be doing something they weren't expecting, they jump all over it to try and be one step ahead. The return of Y2J was ok because those viral promos were intended to get people to try and figure it all out. This story of Orton's re-injury, if it's real then i hope he isn't on the shelf too long. If it's a work, then WWE did well to try this approach. But people have killed it in this thread by investigating it to death so if Orton does return at Summerslam all we'll get it "no surprise there, totally predictable".
