1) No pictures have been posted with the report. I think if it was real, pictures would of been posted.
2) No local news reported it, I'm pretty sure the main headlines would be "WWE Superstar involved in motorcycle crash" if it was real.
3) WWE.com reported it first which is highly unusual. Unless I see a follow up report by The Wrestling Observer or a picture, then this I'm counting as fake and a work.

There’s some questioning behind the legitimacy of WWE’s story on Randy Orton reinjuring himself in a motorcycle accident. While we don’t want to look stupid and say it’s a work, it sure does look suspicious and a few people close to the situation are feeling the same way. Other than the WWE story, there has been no outside confirmation on the accident.
The belief among some is that it is real, but the story hasn’t been reported in any St. Louis media outlets as of this writing and seeing how Randy Orton is a celebrity, a motorcycle accident would atleast have been picked up by someone by now. If the story isn’t reported elsewhere in the next few days, then you can start to ask more questions. You have to ask how a guy rolled 300 feet on the ground and only re-injured his shoulder. Like I said, I’d hate to call it a work and it turn out to be true but the WWE story had a lot of details in it making it look credible, but is it too detailed?
Furthermore, as of this writing, the Missouri Highway Patrol lists no accident report for anyone with the last name Orton for August 8th through the 11th.
One would like to think that Orton is okay and will make some sort of surprise appearance at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view but we’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
The first time I read this, I didn't believe it. Now that I've read the update, and how detailed it is, I don't believe. I just can't believe the details that were in that update, that he only re-injured his collarbone.
I think we'll see him sooner rather than later.
It's an overexageration of massive proportions or its a WORK...300 yards from 30 miles an hour, is not likely, I've crashed skiing faster than that on steep runs obviously on snow and ice and didn't travel that far, and from what I remember snow and ice seems to have less friction than, tarmac, grass, gravel, dirt, etc. Plus if it were true it'd be on the news or pics would have emerged, expect in a few days time(Smackdown or ECW possibly) some either pics which are either photoshop'd or using make-up and prosthetics. Right now, many things in that story don't seem viable.
If this story/incident is legit then I wish Orton a speedy recovery. If this really did happen and wearing a helmet saved his life then he's one lucky man. And I'm glad he didn't sustain anything worse as that would be horrible, especially for his baby girl.
However, I can understand how many believe this is a work. You do bring up some strong and fair points. It does sound a little fishy to me.
All in all, I can't wait to see him make his return.
Is it justme or is WWE going to fool everybody at Summerslam by bringin Randy Orto back to help either cena or batista??
Most people have assumed that Orton would be making some type of appearance at Summerslam and by the WWE pulling smething like saying Orton will b out for another 3 months
maybe its to put people off Ortoncoming back at the smmerslam
is there anyways we can find out if this acciedent was legit or is wwe going to fool is all at the summerslam ????????
