They really hurt Kane's momentum this week:

They put him in a comedy segment with Santino automatically taking away that "serious" shine off of his angle.

He gets basically dominated by CM Punk throughout their match with Punk just kicking Kane all over the place.

Then he goes crazy MMA style only to get Goldberg'd by Batista.

Agreed. I think he needs a kick up the arse from someone.

Bearer would be ideal, although can't see that happening after the bag situation. Unless it's the urn. It'd have to be a flat urn though looking at the shape of that bag >.>

how can the urn be in that bag...the bag seemed pretty flat wit no signs of the shape of an urn in it...only thing could be his old mask..or a pic of undertaker and him hugging

I hope there not thinking off destroying what credibilty this great story had already, I hope it is the mask but I would hope bearer would return as well to help the story and taker.

I personally think that Kane is sick of losing matches. I noticed that Kane is only freaking out when he is losing a match (last week after the match and this week when he was tossed out of the ring and when he lost). I think he is trying to find what made him the monster he WAS when he began in the WWF. He challenged Punk because he wanted to check if he really had to let his "psychotic" personality take control of him so he can win again.

I think he knows that he has to go back to Monster Kane if he wants to be back in the title picture but I don't think he wants to be that monster again.

This hypothesis leads to Paul Bearer being the only man that can bring back the old "Big Red Machine"... Is he dead or alive?

Wow, a really good idea, repped. I'd mark out, if that'd happen.

So, he loses the ECW Championship, he's ok with that. But the next three weeks he runs havoc on Raw. First, he destroys Jamie Noble, the next week he attacks Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole asking: "Is he dead, or is he alive?"
The next week, he's back to being face again, he's having a hard time saying it, but he apologized to the announcers team. Then he challenges CM Punk to a match because "he needs it".

Yep, it all makes sence.

I would love Kane to get his mask back, if only for Santino to call him the Batman.

Can't wait to see how all this plays out.

It is his mask. His old mask.

And he's talking about himself. His old self, is HE alive or dead. He's talking about the monster inside of him. Why else would he say to Punk, "I need this, I need to know"?

And he came out and said he is sorry. Obviously the man is tormented within hence the sudden change of character. The monster is emerging and with that will be the return on the mask. What else would be in the bag. It seemed like the right size. It has to be something from Kane's past, something of significance. What else would that be other than the mask.

This is going to be awesome. Even if it gets boring quickly, the first few weeks will be must see.
