His first title feud will not be against Kane. It will be against John Bradshaw Layfield, John Cena or Batista.

Yeah, he's only wrestling Kane on house shows because the WWE feels that Kane is the only wrestler who qualifies as a contender, and they're also willing to put Punk over Kane, so yeah.
