This isnt a sport, and you sound like an idiot.

Bye.
I think it was a good move and something different for a change. I am a big CM Punk fan and it's nice to see him finally get a taste of some gold.

They must be really desperate for ratings if they decided to make all 10 of CM Punk's fans mark out like school girls.

Yeah, put a world title around the waist of someone that actually knows how to put on a decent match, what a concept. What must Vince McMahon be thinking to do something like that!?

He's probably just still delusional from the accident. It's alright though; these things happen.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
You also realize that this CM Punk angle far outshadows the McMahon angle done last week, meaning there is definite emotional investment on the audience towards CM Punk be it positive or neegative.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
Being a big follower of the developmental system, seeing Kofi Kingston and CM Punk at the top of RAW is amazing to see. I've been pulling for these two guys for the longest time, and this is fantastic.
Now, I'd just like to see all the naysayers (which would come for any new champion, quite frankly) proved wrong. This is a great way to give Punk a taste of the top and really get his career moving.
Kofi and Punk? Life is good.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh lots of complaining on this board tonight. But not like I didn't see it coming, this is the IWC after all.
People say that Punk did not deserve the title. Well the way the decide who is champion is a combination of a few factors. 1)Crowd response 2) Merchandise and 3) Politics.
1) Crowd response, ok now lets look at his run in WWE. For those who watch ECW (not those pussies who don't like it just cause he doesn't know who punk is.) you would know that from the very beginning he was incredibly popular. His style is unique to WWE which makes him stand out.
From what I've seen the autograph sessions he has held have drawn very well. (back when he was just on ECW) In fact just the other day I read a report that a line was so long at walmart that they had to turn away about 100 or so people. So OBVIOUSLY he is popular.
2) Merchandise- I don't know the figures and this could be not a significant factor to him winning the title. But the merch they sell is often a contributing factor to who the champion is. The reason is very simple, this is a business and having a champ who can draw and make money is smart business.
3) Politics- Often the bookers or in wwe's case 'creative writers' choose to not push someone because of their personality outside of the ring. It may be their attitude or even their physical appearance. Or sometimes its when someone *cough* HHH *cough* wants to hold someone down to keep their spot as the 'top dog'. Also the company may want to portray a certain imagine, in light of the semi recent steroid and drug scandal it is smart public relations to have a marketed drug free champion.
Those 3 contributing factors are what causes someone to be champion. Regardless if he is a 'transitional champion' he still won it and will go down in history forever. It is quite obvious that Punk at least has one of those factors because judging on the crowd reaction when he comes out or is in a match the crowd loves him.
Now it may not be your personal style and you may like larger men fighting. But apparently the crowd as a whole is into CM Punk. For those of you who didn't watch ECW and don't know much about Punk then you're in for a treat because Punk is simply awesome.

Totally agree. I was happy that Kofi won the title last night and now I'm even happier that BOTH of them are holding titles. Both titles are with great young talents and it's amazing in my opinion. Awesome to see.
