Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
I didn't think they would give Punk the title right away after joining RAW, I marked hard and glad to see he's the champ. I wonder how long he can keep the title.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
After being a HUGE fan of Punk while he was in ROH and seeing him get the World Heavyweight Title was a great moment. Made me mark out like a kid.

Punk can wrestle, great mic work and charisma.
JBL had won the title, I would more than likely not watch Raw for a bit. It was fucking unbearable when JBL was last champion.

That's a great thought right there. It's really obvious that a World champ will retain on a non PPV show.
I will give props to WWE if they keep this "guess when Punk will lose" feeling.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
All this does is continue to make Edge look like a weak champion. So what that he's held the belt 5 times now. He has not once had a decent reign. And Punk winning, is an absolute joke. This guy has only had the ECW title. There are guys that have impressive and established resumes and Punk cashes on what will be one of, if not the greatest superstar in the WWE. Seems ridiculous. There had to be another way to get the belt to Raw. Why didn't Batista just beat Edge at NOC's?

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
I think this is terrible booking on Creative's part. I mean c'mon, you gave a world title to an x ECW mid-carder? CM Punk looked really cheap cashing in on Edge while the guy had just gotten a Batista beating. His win against JBL also looked terrible, got him on his minute long set-up of a finisher, while JBL was distracted, just pathetic. They must be really desperate for ratings if they decided to make all 10 of CM Punk's fans mark out like school girls.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
God, this thread is full of the ignorance.
They had Punk cash in right after Edge was beat down to put over MITB. The point of the match at Mania is so the winner can cash in literally whenever he wants. By going with this scenario, everyone's reminded that MITB can change everything in an instant and the match doesn't lose any popularity/importance. It doesn't make Punk look weak, it just shows his oppurtunistic and willing to play to the advantages he's given, in this case MITB. And even if it did make him look bad, he accepted a defense the same night. That pretty much shows everyone his charcter's willing to be a fighting champion.
Good move by WWE.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
With WWE doing all these unexpected things lately, with having Triple H drafted to Smackdown, both Edge/HHH retaining the titles last night, Kofi winning the I.C. title and with Punk both winning and retaining tonight. I would not be surprised if WWE ended up giving Punk a good two, three or even four month title reign.
