Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
Thing is I fail to see why anyone thinks he isn't getting pushed right. I mean they needed the belt back on Raw so Punk basically is gonna be known as the guy who brought the belt back to flagship show, and the original title at that, that Raw had before. He beat the top heel in the whole company who had screwed people over many times, and two of those times it was with the mitb the same way Punk just used it on Edge. So I rly do not see a better way they could put Punk in the main event when no one expected it. I mean yeah they could have built him up more, but then it would have been more predictable, and also maybe not as special. Because this kinda happen in the perfect way if you really look at it.
Edge has actually just lost to Ric Flair on the PPV when Edge used it, and not many saw him as a main eventer till the point where he used it even tho he was much more crediable than Punk. Fact is he still wasn't built up to use it when he used it, and he didn't even make it through one PPV as a champ yet look at him now. If Punk can even get part of the treatment Edge did then Punk is set.

And Edge became more and more credible with every title reign after that.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
Exactly your career progresses as it goes on so why can't that happen with Punk you know? Hell if it wasn't for RVD smoking weed then who knows how long he would have kept getting that mega push. Kennedy who at the time was in the WWE but like what a year and a few months? and if it wasn't for his injury he was gonna use the mitb the same time Edge used that 2nd one.
Edit: ^^^
Nope ur not that feud helped ALOT.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
If Foley slimmed down a bit it would have helped a lot more.

Re: CM Punk on Raw *SPOILERS*
This was one of the greatest moments of the year. This made Raw seem like such an unpredictable, unexpected show. Which we haven't felt in a VERY long time. This was reminiscents of the WWE from years past. And I for one, am absolutely overjoyed by the WWE's choice in picking Punk as their World Heavyweight Champion for the Raw brand.
I mean sure, he may end up being a transitional champion. But at least it's in the record books that Punk won the World Heavyweight Championship on June 30th. This is a make or break moment for Punk now. The WWE can either continue this push and build Punk up as the underdog that can overcome any oncoming challenger. They can give him A LOT more microphone time so he can finally display that charisma on the stick that majority of us have been yearning to see. What needs to happen from here is for the WWE to build Punk up as a strong, willing and defending champion. Otherwise, he won't get over as champion and we may see a decline in ratings. Fans won't rally behind someone who is a failure as champion... a paper champion.
So in conclusion, Punk may lose the World title at the Great American Bash. But look at Edge. He only held the WWE Championship after he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Cena and he ended up holding it for a total of 3 weeks. Now look at Edge. He's a Main Event heel and one of the most over heels in the WWE right now. This could help elevate Punk if the WWE continue to back him once he loses the title. Right now, this is a positive sign of things to come in the nearby future for Punk. And I for one, am glad for him.
