I agree whole heartedly... Look at Edge in 06.. he was opening PPVs then he became a main eventer just by using the briefcase.. although I'll remain adamant that his work with Foley is what helped him stay at the top...

Well i switched off just before the JBL/Punk match as i knew Punk would win.

I can't believe people couldn't see this happening!! It dosen't take a scientist to work it out that Edge and HHH were going to feud, who was going to drop the belt, Edge who has been champion on or off for ages (he was champ then got injured, came back and about 3 matches later was champ again) ? or HHH who has just become champion about a month ago and who is probably WWE's main star who happens to have just moved to Smackdown? You really think they would be like "Right HHH were moving you to Smackdown and were taking your title" i mean seriously are people really that dumb??

So then you all think Edge will lose to the person he has never lost to in Batista and the WHC will go to RAW at NOC? Wouldn't that have been so stupid if that happened? If that had happened don't you think WWE would have looked even more pathetic then they do now because that would have been the obvious thing to do? If they did that it would of killed their fresh draft shake up straight away.

Or they could of used the MITB to take the title back to RAW, hmm tough decision. Do you piss off HHH who has only just regained the belt? Do you piss off Edge who has had the belt for ages and has carried Smackdown for a longtime, and is pretty much the only heel there? Or do you do the obvious which is to make Edge lose to MITB and then re-use the old story line of wrestler and GM have it in for the champion and stitch up the wrestler every chance they get but somehow he always pulls out the win when the belt is up for grabs? Translated means Edge and Vickie will abuse their power and beat HHH down every week until the PPV's where HHH will win somehow. Then by their wedding Edge will have been beaten so many times by HHH that he will re-ignite his feud with The Undertaker and they will feud well into winter time. All the while leaves HHH and the title situation to test out various others such as Jeff Hardy. Big Daddy V will feud with Great Khali and Umaga will feud with Big Show. Kennedy will feud with either MVP or team up with him. Murdoch will feud with people like Shelton etc..

So that leaves CM Punk. A guy who has zero personality. Is possibly the most overated wrestler currently getting a push. He has very basic move set and spends majority of the match in a chin lock or some other lock that means 10mins at least sat in the same place of a match doin feck all. Will this guy really be the face of RAW? Hell no!! I'm sorry that some of you rate him and "marked" him but in the big scheme of things he is crap. He helped ECW a bit and he is getting his reward for doing that. It was either have him have a fight with someone for his MITB like Edge did with Kennedy or let him use it and for the next month let him have the belt while giving Smackdown the spot light due to it's upcoming tv move.

In this month Randy Orton will recover from injury and fight CM Punk at possibly GAB and beat him. Thus setting up Cena vs Orton at Summerslam which Cena will probably win. Then you are set up for Cena being champion again until next years Wrestlemania.

So there you have it that is my prediction and were see if that comes true or not. That is how predictable WWE is now and how predictable CM Punk winning the belt was. Shame on you for not seeing it

To be a good babyface champion, you have to look strong. Guys like Cena, Batista, Triple H, they didn't need help to win their matches. Punk looks very weak needing help to keep the title that way. It's basically a fluke. You expect stuff like that for Edge or JBL, but not someone you're supposed to cheer for.

I see Punk having a title reign just like Rey Mysterio did

Mate you must be seriously crazy if you think CM Punk has a personality. He just stands there and says "Yeah" "right" "were see" "your on", that is it. Where is this personality you talk of? Where is the personality that is main man material like say Stone Cold who is in your face, The Rock who is humerous, HHH who is smash mouth but also unpredictable? Cena as much as i dislike him has various sides to his personality, Orton who is just annoying, Edge who is minipulative, HBK hell we all know about his personality, Rey Mysterio who uses his underdog personality etc.. etc.. CM Punk has personality?!! Jesus.....

And yes his move list sucks. I just watched the JBL fight on youtube to see if i was right and i was. The match lasts 8mins and 5mins of that he is on his ass in a chin lock or giving a sit down sleeper hold....so exciting....

wow those promos just prove it even more, he hasen't a clue what to say and looks like he needs someone to tell him his lines or something. "i hope you smoke till you die" that has to be the worst line i've ever heard

The Boy Wonder

Look at his finishing move. That move is believable to beat just about anyone in the WWE. It's a knock-you-out move. I also think its a good idea to have Punk use the Anaconda Vice as well.
