I marked big time, it was so unexpected, and really was an amazing moment.

All the people who thought CM Punk gets no reaction, watch the fans go nuts as Punk wins the title.

I can't believe people who are bitching and complaining, this is great news for RAW and great for Punk and major kudos to the WWE creative team for it because he deserves it. I mean, it's a damn great feeling when the champion lifting the title on a show these days isn't either John Cena, Batista, or Triple H! Edge was a great champ and heel, but CM Punk is heading in the right direction and im just hoping the WWE can think this through and give him a decent and respectable reign as world champion. He's finally got that credit he always wanted within the company.

CM Punk vs. John Cena
CM Punk vs. John Bradshaw Layfield
CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
CM Punk vs. Randy Orton (when he returns)
CM Punk vs. Shawn Michaels
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Nice post "WWE's Evolution"

It ought to be interesting to see how far CM Punk can go as Champion. It's obvious they have some type of faith in him giving him the ball, even if it is for a little bit. I mean, when Edge won his first Championship...albeit it was for three weeks, that really helped mold him into the guy we have today. So Punk's test run can literally make or break his career. I hope it's the former of the two!

So one would assume that this means weekly promos for Punk instead of the odd one here and there, and maybe, MAYBE the chance to have a 20+ minute match on a PPV. I love it.

I marked out huge for Punk, its been a while since I've been excited by the WWE. Hopefully he gets a long reign to establish himself as a main eventer.

For the people saying "I just don't buy him as the top guy, he's not credible."

That's the point, it's the Money in the Bank!! You don't win it because you're the most credible guy, otherwise Batista, HBK, HHH, John Cena, The Undertaker, and Orton would be in the match every year, you are in the match and you win the match to break into the main event scene and you win it because you're opportunistic.

Also, keep in mind, I don't think the dudes going to be scoring clean pinfalls over Cena or Jericho or your favorite wrestler, so just relax a little, last night he got a little help/distraction from Team Prison Break and beat JBL who unless your in denial must realize that's what JBL is there to do - put people over.

And even in addition to that, I'll agree, Punk hasn't been on a winning streak, but just roll with the punches and trust the booking team finally has their head on their shoulders.

A couple of things I thought about before going to bed. PUNK IS FINALLY OUT OF THE DOGHOUSE!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He finally drank at the bar, Brian Gerwitz finally got over how he tapes his wrist, he stopped rubbing people the wrong way!!!!!!!!!

Money in the Bank is to give newcomers a chance to shine, they won't give the briefcase to anyone who's a former World Champion unless the original MITB holder is injured (just like last year with Kennedy).
