Good for Punk I completely marked out. Would have rather seen HHH lose the belt then the guy that NEEDS the belt. Edge HAS to have the belt for the Vickie storyline so hopefully he defeats HHH for the WWE title at GAB.
Its amazing what can happen on Raw when HHH goes to SD lol.

Thing if if Punk happens to have a transition run it won't kill him like some think. Edge didn't get killed by it in the long run Orton didn't get killed by it, some mentioned how the Rock had alot of transition runs. Not every run has to be a long one. I hope he gets one, but they seem to be serious about pushing Punk so I doubt he will be screwed. Maybe your gonna be right 322, but then again maybe you will be wrong. Alot of people were wrong thinking the guy would never get the belt in the first place, but it happened, and it happened on the flagship show. We can't predict the future so all I'm doing is sitting back and watching how everything unfolds. I just saw my favorite wrestler of the past few years do prob the biggest thing in his career, and there's no way I CAN'T enjoy that. Call me a Punk mark or whatever don't matter all I know is all the haters he inherited, all the sites that kept saying he was in the doghouse, and everything at this moment and time are all eating their words, and thats all that matters to me right now.

Oh man, I totally did not expect him to cash it in. I'd like to see him keep it for a while (maybe 2 or 3 months or even longer), beating most of the greats on RAW. That would put him over as main event material.

Well I can honestly say that I marked out, last time I did this bad was when kurt angle won the wwf title for the first time from the rock. I don't think the ratings will go down with punk as champion, in fact I could see a slight increase with some fans interested in the new additions to raw. For the most part though, I don't see a big ratings boost with punk as the champion. By the way, wasn't it great to see a raw without Triple H.

One last thing before I call it a night ... I think people have failed to realize Edge has a rematch entitlement.
I would expect him to challenge at the next upcoming PPV, I doubt they're going to give that away on free TV considering how much has all ready been given. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I'd expect Edge V Punk(C) for the WHC at the next PPV right underneath HHH V ???
So there's that too.
