Because you know what he was thinking? He's just lost his mother, I'm sure Jeff Hardy is not his top concern.

They used that exact same kickout/pin when Hardy beat Umaga for the IC belt. Umaga kicked at what seemed to be two but Jeff was declared the winner. Smart booking since no one loses face.

Go for it. If an American wrestler became the heel GM of a UK wrestling company and insisted that our national anthem be played at the start of the show rather than the British one, I'd expect them to be booed, too. It's pretty standard stuff.

I've got news for you, WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment, this is a company that consistenly calls itself a truly international company.
I didnt see Jim Duggan get booed for waving his American flag on the tour of the UK

Re: Raw Discussion for 5/12/08: 'Cena'
I thought this was a rather well episode of raw this week not a big Cena fan but having him come out to confront Regal about his actions over the past few weeks was really good in my opinion. The world Tag match however was kind of boring to me and did not find myself interested in the match at all, then they my boredness carried over to the snitsky vs. Kennedy match so I'll say it made that match kind of an average match for me. The womens match was ok I think Melina and Beth could have a pretty good feud against each other. I loved the Jericho Michaels segment thought those two did a wonderful job then Michaels laying Jericho out and flipping over the rope to show his leg wasnt injured was a cool way to point that out. Was great to see Jeff Hardy back and glad to see him win even though I do like Umaga. Then giving Cade and Murdoch the win and Cade turning on Murdoch was pretty crazy however wished Cryme Tyme would have won. The main event was pretty eventful with JBL being named special Referee helping Orton get the win then attacking Cena and Triple H comming in for the save had me entertained.

You seem to be way too offended over something that you should've expected to happen. Do you really think the fans were going to cheer during the singing of the anthem?
Maybe you fans should've booed Duggan. Really have nobody but yourselves to blame for him not getting booed.

Do you ever watch the English national team? When we play we boo every other nations anthem.

Im not offended by it i just thought it was a cheap trick though you cant argue with the results but i could only imagine the reaction some Americans would have had it been British people booing the American national anthem

*yawns* Look, if you wanna get all butthurt about it, feel free. All I'm saying is, Regal's a heel, as far as I know the American anthem is sung when shows are in America, and when a heel insists in America that the British national anthem be sung to open the show instead of that country's national anthem, he's gonna get heat. It's not rocket science.
