Even though I'm a huge fan of Jeff Hardy, he deserves what he got. He was getting a great push and he blew it.
When he comes back I don't think that he deserves a push. They should give the push to someone else like his brother Matt. I just hope that Jeff doesn't do drugs again and get released from the WWE.
There was shock and disbelief in the WWE locker room last night when word of Jeff Hardy's impending suspension made the rounds. Hardy is pretty well liked backstage, but there was a lot of disappointment after the news broke which lead to several guys asking out loud "Can you believe what an idiot he is?"
Even guys in the company who have used substances in the past have realized that the rules have changed in WWE and you can't do things anymore that you might have gotten away with back in the day.
I have to agree Jeff really did blow this push over and I dont think he is going to get a push when he comes back. But who knows but I hope Matt gets a push he deserves one and yeah what was the drug he got caught with?
I can't believe there are people suggesting that the WWE would cover it up if Hardy fails again after this. The drugs testing is carried out an external company, its not an internal thing. This company, Aegis Sciences Corporation, is the largest independant drugs testing company in the US and is certfied by the US Government. Do you really think the WWE be able to cover things up without anyone finding out?
The strange thing is, the policy would have let the WWE use Hardy on tv without pay, or on pay-per-view with pay, during the suspension. So they didn't have to remove him from the MITB, but obviously decided to.
