Re: Jeff Hardy Suspended
Possible return date

Jeff Hardy is being advertised for the June 20 house show in Las Cruces, N.M. He is scheduled to face Lance Cade in a singles match. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
Powell's POV: This is the first time I've seen Hardy advertised for a show since he was suspended for 60 days back on March 10, but it's possible he'll return before this date. This is a new listing because Chris Jericho is advertised as the Intercontinental Champion. Jericho beat Hardy for that title on the night that WWE issued the suspension.

Im pretty sure he will be back before that date, but who knows

Re: Jeff Hardy Suspended
If he comes back June 20, he'll be off the Backlash, Judgement Day and possibly Night of the Champions card. Can't say I'd be too unhappy at that.

Re: Jeff Hardy Suspended
That's what happens when you don't take the wellness policy seriously. You go from beating Triple H on PPV to putting Lance Cade over.
I guess Cade and Murdoch must be splitting soon and Cade will get a push from it even though Murdoch is the better of the two.

I'm not even sure Hardy could be used that well in TNA. It's changed a lot since his last stint in the company. If he puts Cade over, good for him. Maybe after he's done his part to prove that he doesn't have a drug problem, and that he can be useful, than the WWE can use him.

Re: Jeff Hardy Suspended
Jeff was given everything in WWE, I couldn't see him going as far in TNA, even after his massive fuck up.
Hopefully he's jobbing for a good few months, and then after that he can be a consistant midcarder again.

We'll have to wait and see if their willing to job him out.
If i was Jeff Hardy i would flat out refuse to be jobbed out, and call their bluff, because he is in a strong postion at the moment due to his popularity(wellness violations aside), and i would look at being jobbed out to lower card people as an attempt to bury him in preperation for a release and it really would dent any effect he would have in TNA if he was released. From listening to Matt Hardys shoot interview from a couple of years back, he claims Vince has a real "stiffy' for Jeff, which cant be bad if the boss likes you.
I would move him to ECW if they dont trust him, and have him be the face of that brand to see if he can handle the pressure of being the top star of a brand and to see if he can stay clean,
Though obviously being a disgracefully blind Hardy mark i would have him come back and win the WWE title.

I'm fairly positive that fucking up 3 months worth of build-up, not to mention WrestleMania and the storylines involving MITB that follow it, for a quick high very easily eliminates any stroke ol' Jeffy might have due to his popularity.
He was pretty damn popular back in 2003 and they canned his ass. I don't think they'd hesitate for a second to do it again.

They werent exactly all that keen to release him in 2003, it only came about because Jeff Hardy failed a drug test and refused to go to a week stay in a rehab center and with the state he was in back then they had little choice but to release him, that go's with the fact that he wanted quit anyway.
Then they tried to resign him again a year later only to be turned down by Jeff.
Then they were all to happy to resign him back again for his current run.
Im sure they wouldnt hesitate to fire him again though, all im saying is Jeff Hardy needs to find himself a more Shawn Michaels mid-90s attitude to protecting his position, but then again you never know if Jeff Hardy actually gives a shit what his position is.
