This kind of Reigns's push is why Stone Cold quit in 2002

WWE has always booked dumb stuff like Reigns beating Rollins on a random Raw with no build up or anything. The best example is when Vince wanted Stone Cold to job to Brock on a random raw with no build up. But he refused and left instead. Today's talent like Rollins don't play backstage politics and just do whatever WWE asks them to do.

But its just another case of WWE failing to see the bigger picture. Even if you assume Roman sells lot of merchandise or kids like him, there is only so much one man can do. And there is a big gap between Cena and him. Roman already main evented 3 Manias and most of the kids already know him very well. If Roman sells 'x' amount of merchandise now, and he main events 5 more manias doesn't mean he will sell 5x merchandise. No it doesn't work that way. Roman has a ceiling too and is fast approaching his peak.

Stone cold said the same thing basically about his departure. Its great they were trying to build Brock up but why sacrifice Austin how was bringing in tonnes of $$ ? There is always a better way but WWE will never learn.

Isn't he set to lose this Sunday? So, this win means nothing. They are just protecting his win against Undertaker. Rollins was the only other guy besides Balor that had a win over him and now they are showing he is undefeated until Strowman returns and takes the rub in order to face Brock at SS. This wrestling booking 101.

Seriously, as a Balor fan, you really shouldn't complain about another guy getting pushed. If anything the other 3 opponents besides Roman and Balor deserve to win this Sunday.
