I was actually kinda ok with Raw tonight but then you had Bray Wyatt come out and attack Jericho, and Ambrose. I was kinda getting back on board with it, because I thought, HEY, maybe it might be cool if Wyatt and Miz formed some kind of heel alliance. Bray was even communicating with The Miz like it was planned. It'd be different, maybe the hollywood guy can team up with the cultist guy and get something out of it. I was starting to actually unhate it, but then he turned around and attacked The Miz.
This is why people can't stand Bray Wyatt and his booking, even when he gets some sort of mini-push, it actually derails or pauses the momentum of other wrestlers and for what? To give him a moment that won't matter in the long run anyways? Every segment he shares with someone, the other person has to work to get their credibility back while he goes ahead and blows any credibility he has later on. Such as him possibly losing the match at Payback. Or even if he wins, they won't give him any followers again, which doesn't help him (which I thought the Miz thing would help) accomplish some sort of goal.
And there lies the problem, no goals, no sort of character development. That SUCKED.
Like it's going to help Finn Balor either, remember as I point out: Even people who beat him, lose credibility because of all of the time they waste in a bad feud. At the very best, it just freezes his momentum, doesn't raise it by the time Balor is done with this feud. Bray Wyatt is literally a black hole of booking, you don't gain anything from a feud with him, you either just get your momentum frozen or you lose momentum entirely and then are expected to come back from it.
At this point the only thing Wyatt does is make people change the channel, and destroy other wrestlers credibility/momentum. He loses every feud, every important match. Those three getting beat down by Wyatt doesn't make Wyatt look good, it just makes those three look like absolute shit.
Bray Wyatt only got a reaction when he gave Sister Abigail to The Miz, the best mic worker, only true heel in WWE and the real star of RAW. They will bury him but he will still remain over. Eventually they have to realize what they have in him, right?
They had to make Bray look strong since he's wrestling for the title at Payback. Plus he had a sneak attack on Ambrose with the lights going off. While his attack on Miz threw him off guard, because Miz thought he was helping him. But in reality all Bray wanted to do is beat up people to send a message to Orton.

If Bray isn't going to interact with them again beyond that, you pretty much did have three people get laid out, which makes whatever they do going forward, with their momentum lost.
The Miz, Ambrose and Jericho have no momentum, Jericho is going to job to Owens and leave, other two guys are not even on the card. And Wyatt should look credible on the go-home show before PPV match against WWE champion
By that logic, all you basically did was spend the entire show hyping up a main event with 3 "jabronis with no momentum" to have someone come out and kill them at the end. That isn't very enticing booking, especially considering Bray Wyatt already has promos building to such a thing.
Tbf this would be valid if they all did. Jericho has some but it is obvious he will lose at Payback due to his other commitments where as Miz and Ambrose are both doing nothing match wise at the PPV. I mean maybe they are setting a feud up for one of them with Bray probs Ambrose though I am not looking forward to it even as a fan of both :draper2.
Miz vs Bray feud could be good as Bray needs a change and a face turn is for sure needed.
Wyatt had no reason to be in the main event. It would have made more sense to have Owens attack out of no where. Strowman would have had a bigger impact than stupid Wyatt. Just plain dumb.
Bray is one of those guys like Braun who are there to bury guys wwe doesn't care about like Jericho, Miz, and Sami Zayn but lose to Roman Reigns, John Cena, Finn Balor and other wwe chosen guys.
Pretty good point, tbh. I don't think anyone's been booked worse than him, and you can easily make a case that everyone who matters in WWE has experienced a decent amount of bad/misguided booking in the past few years.
Every now and then WWE remember that beating Bray means nothing so they try to build him up so that when he loses it makes the other guy look good. Problem is no one looks good beating Bray because the Bray character is too far gone, all this shit does is make AMbrose, Jericho and Miz look like the most useless turds in the world.
Yup.. and everyone knows Bray is gonna lose the house of horrors match. Then he's gonna lose the feud with Finn.
At this point, they really need to have Bray win a feud. I'm not sure it even matters who it is against at this point. Bray winning a feud against the popcorn vendor would be a step up...
That would make sense given that the title is not on the line. Makes Orton and SD look weak, though. A bit of a benefit to that, though, is making it look as though Jinder has a real chance against Orton.
Because after years of us shouting for a Wyatt push the WWE has successfully soured the majority of us on him, which to them is the perfect time for him to start beating people we do like.
