So people are turning on Enzo and Cass?

Im surprised it took this long. They are terrible wrestlers, extremely boring on the mic since they say the same shit every single week, and ultimately bring nothing to the show.

As they are right now, they are basically a poor imitation of The New Age Outlaws.

I'm over the gimmick. Its the same thing week after week.

Nah, the bad name was there LONG before they arrived >:)

The catchy sayings only get you so far. After their opening shtick they are hit and miss. Some stuff they have said has been creative and funny while other things are boring or worse, cringe worthy. As wrestlers they need to tag because not sure either has the potential to go it alone. They sure do not as of right now. Enzo as we know is small. He might be ok in the cruiserweight division. At the least he would bring some color and character to the division which is lacking that right now for some reason. As far as Cass while he is tall he is not big. Reminds me of the basketball center who does good in college but not strong enough to do much in the NBA. If I was him I would be happy to be a jobber to the stars. Have him go over smaller guys and look bad ass but always end up taking the pin against top stars.

Well, i didn't get that vibe from any thread or anything on Raw.

But, i am turning in them. And, i loved them. Said their opening phrase, laughed at Enzo. It's exactly what i thought would happen: repetition. I don't care anymore. There's nothing to them. They have no reason to be there.

And, heading Sheamus and cesaro? The team who beat they longest reigning tag champs of all time! Enzo cannot wrestle; at this point i don't think he's tried to improve.

It's kind of wwe fault for putting them out every night the exact same way. But, Enzo & Cass need to also step up and change their game.

One issue is that Enzo seems to have been heavily restricted in what he says these days. It seems as though Vince or whoever picked up on some of Enzo's more over phrases and proceded to have him repeat them ad nauseum instead of letting him ever say anything fresh, which he's more than capable of.

Another problem is Cass. He's even more tiresome on the mic than Enzo, which should come as no surprise because he was never good in the first place. He basically got a few Enzo catchphrase hand-me-downs, and they provided him with the only relevance he's ever had.

Then there's the wrestling. Cass may not be good, but Enzo appears to be more and more of a liablity every time he wrestles.

And a magical heel turn isn't going to fix anything, either.

They're trying to replicate New Day's merch success with Enzo and Cass, hence the repetition.

Kids love them, too. Unfortunately they're making a lot of money for Vince like this.

I personally liked them in NXT but unfortunately they've been overexposed on the Main Roster, the shtick is getting tiresome and the magic that was there in NXT seems to be fading. Another problem is the fact they just aren't good in the ring, Enzo fortunately has the mic skills to carry himself even though it's a bit repetitive but with fresh material he can be a solid manager. Enzo is someone who I think would work better in a manager role as he's been in WWE for 4 years and is still as green in the ring as he was when he debuted in NXT, I like the guy but why the fuck hasn't he improved? Fortunately Enzo is still young and as said he's got the mic skills that'd be perfect for a managing role.

As for Big Cass, I'm going to be much more blunt, he's bad, this guy started in WWE Developmental in 2011 and is still unbelievably green. Look I know it takes time to master the microphone and understand how to work a match but Cass has had 6 years to at least become somewhat competent, but I'm just not seeing any improvement from him on the mic and in ring. I think he's too reliant on Enzo when it comes to talking and his ring work is not anything to praise, he's got a great Big Boot I suppose but that's it. Cass has been in the company longer than other big men like Corbin and Strowman, Corbin has improved so much, he's worked hard and continues to impress and he's been wrestling less time than Cass. Strowman only has 2 years experience and overall he's better than Cass.

Enzo and Cass had no business going over Sheamus and Cesaro on RAW. Just my opinion. Look I won't count Enzo and Cass out, all I'm saying is they need a reset, Cass has potential but 6 years and minimal improvements is quite alarming, the only thing he's got going for him is size and the fact he's associated with Enzo who in my opinion has a much higher ceiling than Cass. As said Enzo is bad in the ring but with fresh material can be an amazing manager, I won't completely count him out in the ring but he needs some more work. They were probably called up too soon.

Thats the problem - A comic relief team that is not even funny.
They milked the "SAWFT" thing past the bone, people chant it on cue for much the same reason that they Fandango'ed.
"We got us a cuppa hatas, a cuppa hatas ? is not even close to humorous, especially repeated every single show. Had to google what a "certified G" is, They are repetitive, monotonous, bland and boring - And sure don't come close to making up for it in the ring.

They need a drastic gimmick change to have any chance of long term success.

I think what you mean is that us dirty marks on the internet are over the gimmick :)
Yeah, it's stale ...

But you have to remember that they debuted like, 9 months ago and for WWE, that's not even a full tour of the US. They're still hitting cities that have not shouted along with Enzo's intro. The fact is that WWE will not have Enzo and Cass change their schtick while the crowds are still loving it.

And, as much as WE would like to see something new in the gimmick, the live crowds are still going nuts for it.

Their lack of wrestling skills really showed during their match against Sheamus and Cesaro, who I think actually won over the crowd by their in-ring performance. Saying the same thing over and over again didn't help either. Enzo may have always followed up their opening shtick with a promo about the ongoing storyline, but it doesn't seem like most people understand what he's talking about anyway. Generally they only react to the catchphrases.

I'm surprised it took this long too.

Cass needs work but he has potential, Enzo on the other hand is quite possibly the worst wrestler on Raw right now, he has always been terrible but it seems he is getting worse rather than better.

As an act I've always found them cringeworthy, fans laugh just for the sake of laughing.

Enzo & Cass = Channel Changer.

I've noticed them dropping more and more hints of the 'Chester and Spike' routine. It doesn't really matter, as comparisons to NAOs are apt, their shtick is going to be over regardless and fans will have zero problem switching reactions in accordance with what's going on. Ultimately last night had a lot more to do with fan's perception of Sheamus/Cesaro than it did with E&C.

I don't think people are turning on them but most people here are over their gimmick. Enzo is fine on the mic but should get
something new. I think Cesaro and Sheamus are just that much more likable. The casual audience enjoys them.

People aren't turning on them, it's just that their absolute terribleness has been exposed to more people. I feel like these two are the two worst talents in the Main Roster. It's been said before but Enzo isn't a wrestler, he should be a manager. And Cass is just tall, no talent, just tall.

The thing with Enzo is yes he's charismatic, and yes he can cut a promo but wow every single thing he says is just awful. All of his WOAT catchphrases and every other stupid word. His only purpose in wrestling is to get his ass kicked every night.

I don't think that's completely on him though, his promo work down on NXT was a lot better but as soon as he hit the main roster it's like they completely watered his material down to the point where he's just ended up annoying and repetitive. These poor bastards who come up from NXT who can actually work the mic must fucking dread having to cut such dumb, heavily scripted promos on the main roster, especially when it's their main selling point. Cass on the other hand is fucking boring though.
