Honestly, Strowman vs Big Show was a tremendous match and the crowd was on fire. i thought this was gonna be a lackluster match at best but like i said,it was very good, so yeah the crowd still love giants.
Braun Strowman is just incredible. Beyond incredible. He's the best big man of this generation. The man is so agile and athletic for his size. I really hope WWE turn him face and make him win Royal Rumble 2018 and make him win main event Wrestlemania 34. This MAN has IT! He just showcased it... the man has "IT" in a big way.
Totally agree. I'd take this over 2 midgets doing spot after spot that you can see coming a mile away any day! Awesome match, we need more men like Braun on the roster.
I totally agreed. Strowman is a guy that feels such a breath of fresh air after being sick and tired of all these midgets bouncing around. We need more WRESTLERS looking like Strowman and he puts those shrimps into shame.
Well... if that is what you feel is great then good for you? I was bored shitless knowing Strowman was hoing to no sell everything to make the typical boring monster heel.
I expected it to be really short or cancelled or something because of time running out, and then I really expected the ring to collapse like it did years ago with Brock and Big Show, but sadly not... but it was surprisingly good, Braun was impressive
Like I said in the RAW thread, Braun is starting to win me over. That dude has improved drastically, in the ring.. Plus, the man can do a perfect kip up, like wtf. He's a freak of an athlete. After seeing that match between him and Show, he's won a fan in me.
Not taking anything away from his improvements in the ring, but didn't the Big Show kinda "assist" him with that kip up? Big show was holding his arm while he did it.
Better than I thought it would be. I was still a bit irked by tattoo commentary guy saying: "Braun Strowman has never been suplexed by another man before!"
Uh, what?
They have done very well at building up Strowman from his previous Wyatt incarnation in the past year, but let's not completely ignore the past.
It's true, it's true. I was happy to see that match get over with the crowd. It felt different to see 2 huge guys in the main event match. We get so much of the athletic spotty matches now, I think this being so different made it satisfying. The show also had two good cruiserweight angles, so it just goes to show that there's room for all styles and sizes.
In fairness the crowd were chanting "This is awesome" before they had even done anything.
I hate when WWE build up certain superstars to be this unstoppable force, because it makes them almost unable to take a loss, because if they do, they lose their whole appeal, and it always goes the same - Destroying jobbers, then midcarders, eventually being put against someone big that WWE don't wanna have lose so the unstoppable force falls short in some way when it matters most
Funny how everyone is hopping on the Braun hype train now yet before he was pretty much hated. Suck fickle little fans lol. For the record, I've been singing his praises since day one but since he didn't look like he worked for The Geek Squad at Best Buy he was getting hate for no reason at all.
It was decent for what it was, and it told a good story. Braun just continues to impress. He definitely is a special kind of a talent, one I hope they don't screw up.
Oh god, there's always gotta be one of these. ''You're all bandwagoners! I was a fan of this wrestler before all of you!'' bla bla bla. Get off your high horse. Maybe the reason people are starting to like Braun now is because, I don't know, he's improved over the years? Or that he's finally being given a chance to shine in singles competition? But no, guess you were the one that saw his potential from day one. Props to you, buddy.
Awesome main event. They have done so well with Bruan. Big show at his age is very impressive. The crowd ate up these 2 and bought into the big giants showcase. Also Wwe did well promoting this match. By the end of the night I was actually looking forward to it.
match was much better than what i expected it to be. giant vs giant matches r usually terrible. braun showed some nice stuff out there. if this doesnt change ppls opinion/hatred of him, then nothing will.
