I think he is, They tried to push this guy with everything the had and fans didnt care at all and please dont tell me "Roman is a bigger failure" at the very least that guy gets reactions , the wrong reactions but still , Perkins gets crickets every single night, not even little kids like the guy and the worst of it is that TJ is a tremendous performer. Maybe he should turn heel but i feel he well be remember as one of the worst champions in WWE history.

He is a new face on a new brand. Give it time. My boy loves the guy but he also knows of him from the CWC and Wwn.

I think his biggest fault isn't anything he has done it's the fans perception. I think fans see him as probably not even in the top 10 or even top 15 of cruiserweighrs elgible guys in the WWE/NXT and maybe not even in the top 25-30 in the world. The WWE is supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport and it's hard to have a champion in that low of regard getting over with fans.

No. He's just playing the wrong role right now. As much as I love his entrance and dabbing, he should turn heel because his promo style seems to be the opposite of his face gimmick. He seems like he could play a "full of himself" heel role much better than a face. He could still dab but he really needs a different theme if they do this. I'd hate to see that awesome entrance go, but it would be better for him.

He's not a flop because he is full of talent and still has plenty of hope to be a top performer in the CW division.

Like I really want to like TJ Perkins but the kinda cockiness he gets sometimes is a turnoff, like something he said to Neville this past Tuesday night in 205 Live about being mad cause girls swipe left or something from Tinder and taking jabs at Neville's appearance...? Really? You dab every night ... shut the hell up, that is 10 times fuckin worse then any supposed "aesthetic downfall" that Neville has.

Can't deny the guys talented in the ring though. I'll give him that.

He's not as bad as people make him out to be. Yes, the dab is cringeworthy but so are a lot of things in the WWE.
I actually like the guy. A heel turn would make him a bit more interesting. As long as they keep that theme I'm happy.

uh... video games!
uh.. dabbin!
uh.. flips in the ring!

Dude not only is a textbook definition of a vanilla midget. But is also a cringe inducing clown.
This. You can't embrace a fad (the dab) as the initial part of your gimmick. What happens when the fad goes the way of the Macarena? Hell on Breaking Ground, one chick wanted to have a Kim Kardashian style, and William Regal shut that down saying the same thing... What the hell are you going to do when the fad becomes passe?

I'm not saying that TJ would have gotten over as some big star but it's not his fault that the whole CW division is a huge botch.

The CWC was the antithesis of Raw. Then suddenly the division had to got to Raw which can be fucking cancerous at times. Now the CW division has to put up with the usual Raw nonsense with added bullshit like having to tape up the ropes for 5 minutes for a 3 minute match.

He was never pushed as a big enough deal to be the biggest flop. He only won the CWC and the title because they couldn't sign Kota Ibushi and others had commitments to finish.

His smug demeanor betrays his fun for the kids video game gimmickry, so people don't like him. But he's still one of the better pure cruiserweights around. He shouldn't be the top guy in the division but he's a solid piece.

Not a fan of TJP. He's one of the many guys WWE has hired recently that just haven't clicked in the company. Sure, he's good in the ring, he can do flippy shit, but what else can he do? He can't talk and he's not charismatic, hence he doesn't get over. 90% of the CW division is like this though. All flash, no substance.

WWE just keeps hiring the wrong indy guys. I would trade nearly all the CW division (with the exception of Neville and Kendrick) for a Jay Lethal, or an Adam Cole, guys that, you know, are actual WWE material.

it's true though, the only Cruiserweight that shows any shred of a personality is Jack Gallagher, Kendrick and "sometimes".... using that term loosely, Neville, cause frankly I like Neville but sometimes he just comes off as trying too hard and some of the shit he says makes me cringe. But, irregardless: Gallagher, Kendrick and Neville. Other than those 3 like there's nothin'.

I would throw Noam Dar in there but I feel he's only been in segments that revolve around Alicia FFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUXXXXXXXXXX. And even then he just comes off as a heel fuckboy and hasn't really had the chance to show any of his own personality
